Chapter 6: Something's off...

After school you noticed Hooni left without you.

'Huh?' You think to yourself.

"Hey, (Y/N) need someone to walk home with?" Your friend runs towards you.

"O-Oh sure." You rub the back of your head.

'I hope Hooni's okay.' You say in your head worryingly.

The next morning you waited for Hooni to arrive.

"Hey, Hooni!" You wave.

Hooni slightly waves back with a small smile walking towards you.

'Huh?' You feel something off about him.

"I didn't see you leave yesterday, what happened?" You ask.

"O-Oh yeah... sorry I was just a bit tired so I left early.

"Oh I see." You nod not exactly believing him.

He does look more tired than he did yesterday, and that concerns you.

"Well, let's go!" You run past him.

"Sure." He nods gripping onto his backpack to catch up to you.

Later at school you noticed Hooni starting to act strange.

'Why is he avoiding me?' You think to yourself as you then open your backpack to get supplies.

'This isn't because of the whole cafeteria thing is it?... Does he really not want to be seen with me?' You worry.

"Alright, class skip to page number 156." The teacher exclaims.

I guess you should be focusing more on the teacher...

Hopefully he's okay.

After class you sat at lunch with (F/N) and didn't see him.

'Where could he be?' You sigh.

"Everything alright, (Y/N)? You don't normally pick at your food." Your friend asks worryingly.

"Yeah." You reply setting your fork down on the table.

"Where's Hooni today?" Your friend looks around the cafeteria.

You shrug.

"I don't know." You mumble.

"Hey, it's alright. He's probably doing something right now." Your friend pats you on the back.

"Yeah probably." You continue to eat your food.

'I hope he's alright...' You wonder.

Days like this went on for awhile.

Him leaving you after classes, eating alone in the cafeteria, and once in awhile he'd straight up pretend you're not there.

What ever happened...?

We were just becoming great friends aswell.
