Chapter 11: Tranquillity

...And that's when it happened.

Regretting his decision he then gets engulfed by the ocean.

"HOONI NO!" You scream running as fast as your legs could take you despite being overly exhausted. It feels as if though your legs could fall of at any moment.

You panic as your clothes get soaked trying to find him. Tears roll down your cheeks as the thunderstorm gets worse by the minute.

"No, no, no, no..." You repeat as your sobbing continues.

"Don't leave me please!" You yell as you struggle to breathe for air.

The ocean waves then begin to be too much for you to handle.

'No, please... it can't end like this...' Your limbs then begin to give up on you.

'I just wanted you to be happy...'

Opening your eyes you awaken to the sound of the seagulls and the ocean waves.

"...Hooni?" You begin to adjust your eyes to the sun.

"(Y/N)-" Hooni hovers over you.

Sparing him no time to react you tackle him in a hug.

"Don't do that again please..." You sniffle gripping at the collar of his shirt.

"I'm sorry." Hooni begins to tear up hugging you weakly.

"You mean everything to me, you know that right?" You lift his chin up.

"You're too nice to me (Y/N)..." He looks away with a slight blush.

You both sat there for awhile in silence as you held Hooni in your arms stroking his hair.

You then let go of his head yet he puts your hand back anyways gesturing for you to keep going, clearly embarrassed yet obviously enjoying it.

"You're so cute..." You say out of the blue, not really knowing where it came from.

"W-What..." He stutters not being prepared for the compliment.

"It's true." You moved your face to the back of his nape.

Hooni then struggles to make out words as you giggle.

"Seriously, I don't know what I'd do if you left me..." You sigh into the back of his neck.

"Hey..." Hooni suddenly speaks up.

"Yes?" You ask.

"You know how you were waiting for my answer about the whole u-um... you know..." He looks down at the sand.

"Yea, I do." You smile at him fondly.

"I think- I mean... I'd like to be in a relationship with you..." His face turns red as he plays with his fingers.

You stop.

"Aah, sorry! Only if you want to..." Hooni says embarrassed.

"...I think I'd like that too." You grin.

"You are the best thing that happened to me, (Y/N)." Hooni blushes and hides his face.

Cupping the sides of his face, you then face him towards you. Pecking his forehead.

"Same here." You shyly begin to pet his head again.

Hooni overly flustered begins to panic leaving you a laughing mess.
