Hi everyone! I'm back with another Anthro Shark story! This time for a character we are having an Anthro Shark called, "Riptide." I find his design pretty cool so I decided to use it in this story. I do not own Riptide! His regular gear would include a black shirt, blue and black solider boots, including white and blue solider pants. This will take place in the Xenoblade Chronicles X universe where Riptide is an Expert at piloting a Skell. This is a short one, sorry!

I woke up from my bed opening my eyes slowly as I still felt sleepy. I slowly got up and gave a big yawn. I walked towards my dresser drawer and picked up my clothes for the day. I then sat on the floor and started to get dressed for the day. As soon as I pulled on my boots I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror that hanged from above my room's sink.

I gave a sigh, "Another day, another Skell test."

I opened the door to find myself in the BLADE Barracks. I walked down the hallway looking forward to my day today. My tail swooshing back and forth as I keep on walking down the Barracks' hallway. I come to a stop to see that Elma was looking at the map that was on the second floor of the barracks. I walk up the ramp and stand on the other side of the map and look at her as her gaze shifts up to look at me in the eyes.

"Good morning Riptide, what brings you here?" Elma asked me as she had a smile across her face.

I itched the back of my neck. "It's okay, I do got some tests to run on the Skells so that's where I'll be for the most of the day."

"Well good luck, I think you will do just fine being the most skilled pilot we have."

I smiled with my sharp teeth showing, and Elma had no fear in her eyes.

I looked back at the map to see what Elma was doing. Apparently its a map of Caldeos, but it was pointing at a Ganglion hideout.

I asked Elma what the Ganglion hideout was about and apparently there were some hostages so Cross, Lin, and Elma had to go and save them later in the day.

I lifted my hands off the table, "Well, I'll leave the detective to do their work." (Please tell me you know about Danganronpa...right?)

As I left the barracks I took Y/N's necklace out of my pocket and held it in front of my face. I was so focused on the necklace that NLA just became a blurred background. Oh Y/N, how I long to see you again once you get back from your six-day journey from Noctilum. I then started to worry, what if she was hurt? Sometimes she can be so stubborn. Although, I remember her promise. She said she would come back, happy and healthy. So I have to put my faith in her, and trust that she will keep her promise. I just want to see the girl I love again.
