Anthro Shark X Reader - The Shark Guardian Part 2

5 years later...

You hid under the bed, as the door opened with a small creak. The two legged creature walked slowly around the room.

The creature spoke, "Where could that child be?"

You giggled playfully. The creature's head appeared as he bent down to see you under your bed, "There you are!" Your guardian smiled happily.

You laughed as you moved out from under the bed. You looked up to your guardian, he was way taller than you. I mean, you are only six, while he was an adult.

Your guardian sighed, "I think I'm done playing hide and seek now Y/N, let's hang out in the living room okay?" He asked smiling.

You replied back with a nod as your guardian sat on a stool, and went on his first new iPhone he had got from your mother. You looked up to your guardian, as a big brother. Your guardian's name was Shockwave, pretty cool right? Shockwave cared about you, I mean his purpose was to protect you, and make sure you were safe from whatever harm may have come to you. You and Shockwave lived with your mother, because she divorced with your father.

You looked over to Shockwave seeing his large tail sway back and forth. Sometimes, his tail even hit the stool. Y/N trotted over to Shockwave and touched his tail. Y/N smiled as she petted the tail. Shockwave was fine that you touched his tail, and sometimes it even relaxes Shockwave a little bit. Shockwave then had an idea. The tail suddenly started to move almost like it was alive. You never seen his tail do this before.

You thought Shockwave didn't know about this so you said, "Uhh Shock, I think something is wrong with your tail?" You told him with your child like voice.

Shock got off the stool and bent down to be at your level. "Don't worry I know what your talking about. I just discovered that I could move my tail like this last week. Cool huh?" He smiled at you as he brushed your hair with the tip of his tail.

You laughed as you replied, "Yeah that's awesome!"

At the dinner table your Mom, your mothers guardian Dashson, and Shockwave sat at the table eating tonight's food. It was your favorite, which was green beans and ravioli. Also, it is good to note that guardians are omnivores like humans. Your whole family has Shark guardians and they still are all omnivores.

"So Molly, want to know what I discovered I could do like Dashson? I already showed Y/N," Shockwave told your mother.

Your mother, Molly smiled. "Yes go ahead Shock, what do you have to show us?"

Shockwave rose his tail above the table and wrapped his tail around his glass of milk and had it by his side. You, Dashson, and Molly clapped for your guardian being able to accomplish this feat.

"Well done!" Dashson complimented.

"Great job!" Your mother told him.

You hugged your guardian by his torso and smiled happily.

Shockwave patted a hand on your head as he set the glass on the kitchen table and unwrapped his tail from the glass. The tail returned to its regular position.

Shockwave looked at you with a positive face like always or most of the time. When he smiled or looked positive it helped you feel in a good mood too.

"You ready for your first day of school tomorrow?" Shockwave asked you.

You responded back happily saying, "Yeah! I'm a little scared though."

Shockwave put his hand on your shoulder. "It's okay Y/N, you'll be fine as long as you be yourself," he told you.
