Rocket Raccoon X Nerdy Reader - Love has no bounds

Step by step throughout the Milano you went to the main area of the ship where you picked up your plate and set your food, which consisted of five sticks of French toast, and one chicken patty on the large plate. You walked to your chair and set your plate on the table. Gamora sat at the left end of the table, while Drax sat at the right end of the table. Then their was your crush, sitting right across from you. The one and only Rocket Raccoon, he was smart, witty, aggressive, and perfectly handsome. Their was a couple moments where you went ummm how do I say this...beyond your normal thinking of the raccoon.

You harbored a crush on him since day one. The way he stood up for Quill and shouting at all the inmates like that, the way he broke all of you out of the Kyln, he held your hand when Quill held the infinity stone it was just so inspiring to you. You admire his courage, and how he won't take any crap that comes to him. You never told him, but he's just so cute with those fluffy little ears, and you even wondered what's behind that suit...

"Human are you okay?"

You snap back to reality as you shake your head and quickly look over at Drax to see him having a concerning face.

"Uh yeah I'm fine. I was just thinking." You lied, well sort of.

"Uh huh Y/N, we know what you were thinking about." Peter said as he gave you a devilish smirk.

Your cheeks immediately go red. Rocket is now looking at you with a confused expression on his face. 

Get out now.

You quickly grabbed your plate and ran to your room. Where you set your plate down on your nightstand and grabbed the fur that was on your table and looked at it as you layed on your bed. You stared at the string of fur as your hands glided against it. 

Then you imagine yourself with Rocket your hands hovering over his ears as they occasionally twitched. Petting Rocket as you both sat their on the bed as Rocket licked the right side of your neck. You felt like you were in heaven and being with him, alone was good enough.

Bam Bam Bam!

You immediately sat up in your bed feeling drowsy. You looked at the door knowing where the noise came from.

"Who is it!?" You yelled.

"It's Rocket." Your visitor replied.

"Oh shit!" You silently swore.

You quickly put the strand of fur into one of your drawers and quickly combed your hair to look somewhat decent as you had bed hair. You then open the door to see Rocket looking suspisouly at you.

"What took you so long?" Rocket asked looking like he had an eyebrow raised.

"Sorry, I was eating."

"No, why have you been in your room for over an hour? Aren't you already done eating?" Rocket replied.

"Oh I'm so sorry Rocket! I must have fallen asleep in my room. So, what are you doing here." You asked him trying your best not to blush.

"Oh I was just checking up on you. I also have to tell you something Y/N." Rocket said scratching the back of his neck.

"Hmm?" You wondered.

"I love you, Y/N only you. I wasn't sure what I was feeling at the time, but when I asked Quill and he said that it was love. I was kind of shocked myself, but your so kind Y/N. You don't treat me like a monster, you cared for me as a friend, and your beautiful too. But, if you don't want to be with me I understand I bet there are better men out there than me anyway, but please say something Y/N." Rocket admitted his own feelings to you. He felt the same way about you as well and this made you so happy of course!

You kneeled down to be at Rocket's level of height and scooped him into your arms.

"I love you too Rocket." You said joyfully.

"Do you want to go out on a date with me? You know like grab a drink?" Rocket asked you.

You smiled as you said, "Absolutely Rocky."
