Anthro Shark X Reader - The Shark Guardian Part 1

What Anthro Shark looks like: He is tall, he has two legs to walk on, and has three toes. Your guardian kind of has a muscular body, but also kind of skinny, has two hands like a human would have, has two pointed ears on the back of his head, has a fin sticking out of his back which was his dorsal fin, with your guardian having a medium, possibly long tail. He also has gills that are on the side of his neck. He has white eyes.

Ace Laboratory 11:00 AM

One of the lab scientists walked toward the baby with a syringe in hand. He then poked the needle in the baby's right arm to extract blood.

The doctor looked at the mother. "Now we have to examine her DNA," The doctor told your mother about a part of the "guardian process."

The doctor put a drop of your blood under a microscope. Next, the doctor went to a computer while standing to type some information. The doctor then had a vile, and transferred the blood from the syringe into the vile. The man in the white lab coat stood in front of a giant tank. Almost looked like a containment unit. The man in the white lab coat, or the doctor, put the vile of blood into a slot that is on the side of the containment unit. The doctor then pressed a button, which shut the door of the containment unit. The containment unit had no windows to be able to see what was in the giant tank except a little hole, which was a window and was on the top part of the tank. Where the flashes from the unit come from.

The doctor looked at your mother with his hand hovering over a circler shaped button. "Once I click this button. The guardian will be made," The man in the white lab coat said.

Your mother gave a nod to the doctor. Then the doctor pushed down on the button with force causing the giant tank or containment unit to shake.

The process was complete. Your guardian had been made. The tank opened, steam coming out of the tank caused your mother and the doctor to waft the steam away from their faces. Once most of the steam disappeared your guardian's design was revealed. He is tall, he has two legs to walk on, and has three toes. The guardian opened his eyes as he groaned. Your guardian started to walk on his two legs, but then immediately fell to the floor and landed on his stomach.

The doctor ran to him, and help lift him up. "Woah easy there! You just got to sit down and let your body adapt to the world. You just got out of the guardian process," The doctor told your guardian. The doctor had the guardian sit on a chair to rest. The doctor ran to the computer to look at your guardians' stats. "His name is Shockwave, he is a Shark, and is at adult age like all other guardians," The doctor said to your mother.

Your mother looked at your guardian with her face full of curiosity, "Interesting, Y/N has a shark guardian like me, and my husband."

Guardians were smart, they all had different personalities. Guardians have the mind of a human, and a little part of them have an animal mind as well. All guardians are an animal. Some guardians are the same species as other guardians, while other guardians can be different species. There are many types of guardians, there are at least 200 species of guardians. For example there are dogs, sharks, rabbits, tyrannosaurus rex, and a lot of other species. Guardians are anthropomorphic, human-like, animals. Their duty is to protect the person they were assigned to, and be their companion. All humans have a guardian once that human is at least one year old. Guardians are strong, they are tricky to kill because their purpose is too protect the human they were assigned to. One bullet will do a little damage, but definitely won't kill a guardian. Guardians have many different sizes. There are small, medium, and large. It is extremely rare for a guardian to be super big in size. Your guardian was medium for size, and he was several inches taller than you. Also, Guardians age slower than humans.

Shockwave looked at your mother. "Mam, where is my companion?" He asked.

Your mother looked at the doctor and he gave a nod. She walked into the hallway to see a muscular looking shark holding you in his arms.

The shark asked her companion, "What's up Natashia? Is Y/N's guardian ready yet?"

Your mother walked up to her guardian and held her arms out. "Yes Dashson, he's ready and he wants to see who he's protecting," Your mother explained.

Your mother came into the room with a crying Y/N. You weren't loud, but you weren't quiet either. Shockwave looked up at your mother to see you wrapped in a blanket crying softly. She handed you over to Shockwave. He held you in his arms and he got to see who he was supposed to protect during his whole life span. You were so adorable to him, and he knew that you were going to have a great personality when you grow up.

Shockwave held a finger against your mouth. "Shh little one. There's no need to cry, as long as I'm here nothing bad will happen to you." 

He tickled your tummy with his finger and you laughed playfully.

"I see that she's grown a liking to you already Shockwave," Your mother told the shark.

Shockwave smiled as he looked at your mother then you, "I promise you little one, I will keep you safe even if I die."
