Welcome Home

I was taking pictures of the students, when I saw Sakura and Akabane walk over to me, Sakura dragging her boyfriend while he just held a smirk on his face. I smiled at the two, waving at them.

"Hey guys, how are you doing tonight?"

"I'm doing fantastic! Karma finally decided to come with me to a school party!"

"That sounds like fun! Also, a great way to celebrate would be to get a picture of the occasion! Want to take a picture, and I can give you the picture later?"

Sakura smiled, and looked behind at Karma, silently asking him for permission. He just nodded his head, while Sakura squealed from pure joy. She truly does lover her boyfriend, doesn't she?

"Alright, you two stand close together, do whatever poses you want to."

They stood together, side by side, holding each other's hands. I was about to take the picture, when Sakura interrupted me.

"So, I noticed that you and Asano have been getting closer lately. Are you into Asano?"

I shook my head, moving my hand to my face to continue proving that I wasn't into Gakushu. Honestly, he would never be into me he would only want the best of the best after all.

"No, we're just friends that's all. He wouldn't be into anyone who doesn't get the best grades possible. I'm not even in the top fifty, so he's not into me."

"You sure? He doesn't seem as serious as he usually would be. Karma and I have both noticed, we have known the guy since junior high."

"Nope, we just became friends after he visited me in the hospital when I got into that car wreck."

Sakura's eyes widened for a moment, before she smiled. He must have given her the impression that he wasn't planning on seeing me at the hospital. Always the secretive type, that's for sure.

"Alright smile on the count of three. One, two, three!"

I took the picture, the two smiling at each other instead of the camera. They definitely are perfect for each other, wish I could have someone like that someday. 

"Alright, I'll get that printed for the two of you. I have to continue what I was doing, so I'll see you guys around."

"Alright, see you around Asuka!"

Akabane waved at me, before he left along with his girlfriend. Now, time to get back to what I was doing before.

I got home, and saw my mother waiting for me in the living room. I already knew that father wasn't home, since his car wasn't in the drive way. Which made things easier for me, I know mother will let me off the hook.

"Five minutes late. Do you know what would have happened if your father was here and he saw that you were home late?"

"It's alright, I wasn't out with my friends or anything like that. I was just taking pictures for a party that the school was hosting."

My mother sighed, knowing that I was telling her the truth. She gave me a tired smile, and I smiled back at her. If she had it her way, I would be able to hang out with whoever I want to freely, along with marry whomever I choose. But sadly, I don't get that choice, not anymore anyway.
