I stared unconsciously at the boy that was sitting at the table for what it seemed like years.
- "You've stood there staring at me for 2 minutes almost, is there something wrong?" Said Sakusa, not even looking at me.
I blinked a bit, confused, and only after that realizing that I was actually staring at him.
- "O-oh, no, nothing's wrong.." I laugh awkwardly then make my way to the table. I sit down on a comfortable chair at a resonable distance away from Sakusa. "Whatcha doing?" I ask him curiously, trying to look in his phone.
- "That is none of your bussiness, Miya. It's about the mission." He didn't even bother to look out of his phone, his voice with the same neutral and emotionless tone.
- "Y'know, since I'm your partner, I think that you should tell me about our missions from now on." I tried not to show that I was actually feeling kinda offended.
- "You are just going to clean after me, that's all, you shouldn't know anything else." He threw me a glare that sent me cold chills on my spine. Even though he looked cuter without the mask on, he was scary now.
I decided to shut up, hoping that he'll at least tell me where we're going tomorrow or at least something, but no. Nothing came out of his mouth after his last reply. I was starting to get bored, and was looking at Sakusa or around the room.
I look at the clock. It was 3:27 AM. I couldn't shut up, so I asked my partner:
- "Aren't you going to sleep, Omi-Omi??" I hoped that I'd annoy him with the nickname.
- "First of all, Miya, don't call me that, second of all, I'm going to sleep when you are. I don't want you to cause any unnecessary trouble."
- "I'm not a kid anymore Omi-Omi!!" He seemed annoyed now. I achieved my goal.
- "I said to not call me that again. Or are you deaf? If I knew that sooner, I would have also bought a hearing device from the pharmacy along with those meds."
- "Omi-kun, you're so mean to me!!" I say, whining like a baby. Maybe this nickname works better.
- "Your voice makes me want to drown myself." He gives me a death glare.
- "That is so mean.. What if I'll start crying because of it??"
- "Stop being such a crybaby, it's starting to get annoying, seriously. I can't understand how Kita-san didn't kill you until now. He must have nerves of steel."
- "I heard that you also have nerves of steel, don't you?"
- "That until I met you, you're beyond salvation."
I sigh in defeat. I couldn't think of another annoying thing to say to make him mad.
- "Ugh... Anyways, I'm going to sleep. You can uhm.... Sleep in the other room in the apartment."
- "Finally, go to sleep Miya, I'm also tired."
He didn't even said a good night or something. Those were his last words until I made my way to my bedroom. I couldn't stand to fight with him anymore.
I went to my room, lock the door, just in case of anything, and plopped down on the bed. In no time, I was asleep. It seems like Omi-Omi was almost like a sleeping pill for me.

The bright morning light was coming through the window, moving in slow waves on the walls. I slowly move on my pillow as I open my eyes.
The clock's alarm was on for quite a while, but I didn't hear it. Funny how I don't remember putting an alarm on. Wait.. Maybe Sakusa put the alarm on-- SHIT, I HAD A MISSION WITH HIM TODAY, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT.I got up very fast and went on the balcony to see Omi's Porche waiting for me, together with Omi that was outside it. I quickly get in the flat and go directly to the bathroom. I washed my face and arranged my hair a bit. I looked horrible. I was a total mess. Even so, I grabbed my phone and gun, then head out of my apartment. I hid my gun in my jacket to not be suspicious.
I walk to the car at a fast speed and looked over to Omi-Omi.
- "What have you been doing? I've waited for you for over 30 minutes."
- "Oh.. Good morning to you too Omi-Omi. Fancy seeing you here."
- "Don't change the subject Miya. What have you been doing, huh?"
- "I slept very deep, alright?! I didn't hear the alarm."
- "Next time I'll just hit you with a pan over your face, maybe it will be more effective than the alarm."
- "Yeah yeah.. Where are we going for the mission??"
- "Just get in the damn car." He points to the car, then he got in, on the driver's seat.
I do the same and seat next to him. I put my seatbelt on.
- "You still didn't answer my question~"
- "I'm not planning on answering it anyway." He said as he was starting the car.
- "Then... What are we going to do today??" I look at him just to see the same expressionless face as always.
- "You don't have to know that information. You'll just have to clean up after me, that's all." He sped up more and more.
- "Do you want to get us crashed?! Slow down!!" I held on to the seatbelt for my precious and sweet little life.
- "Is the fragile princess scared of a little speed?"
I blushed a bit at the nickname, but then said:
- "Me? Scared? Pffft.. Never." I look out of the window to see city. We are going to be the city's edges. Is he trying to kidnap me or something?
- "Very well then." He sped up more with each second that was passing. I could feel the back of my head sinked in the seat. He was driving with over 100 km/h.
I looked a bit more out of the window and then at the driver of the car. He was looking carefully at the road ahead of us, still, he was driving like a maniac. His turns are just as Osamu's.
After a moment of silence that lasted around a few minutes, he said:
- "Watch closely at what I'll do Miya. If it is the case, you might help me." He looked at me then very fast to the road.
