I smiled. Our faces got closer. Now I could feel her breath hitting my cold cheeks, out lips being at less than an inch apart of each other's. The hunger increasing inside of me, as I closed the gap between us, leaving no room for any other words that would come out. Her lips brushing against mine, moving in sync and relaxing against each other. In that moment I finally realized..
I fell in love with Kiyoko. I fell in love with my best friend.

Our bodies were griding into each other's, the surroundings just disappearing. It was only us and the other, and the burning hunger in our insides.
I was holding her waist, her skin brushing against mine. Our lips were still in touch, our breathes turning in only one. As with that in my mind, we finally finished the kiss, still looking straight in our eyes.
I slightly looked around us just to see everybody looking at me and Kiyoko. Is it really that weird for me to kiss someone that everybody has to look?
I then looked back at my partner. She was smiling widely towards me, radiating pure energy. She was something else, something that changed my... World. My life, I wish.
- "I enjoyed the kiss... Honestly." She said as she gave me a peek on my lips.
- "You did?..." I laughed awkwardly, looking at her.
- "Yes. Plus.... I wouldn't have let you kiss me if I didn't.... Y'know.... Have feelings in it." She said it as a whisper, to not uncover our little secret.
- "So you're telling me that.... You have feelings-... For me?..." I looked at her, whispering back. Our bodies were still in the same position as before, not moving an inch from each other.
- "That is exactly what I'm saying..." She looked directly in my eyes, her lips swollen and a bit parted from the kiss we just shared a few seconds ago.
I tucked her hair behind her ear and smiled brightly. I don't think I ever felt this happy, not even with Yachi. She is definitely the one.
- "Well, I'm not gonna lie... I also like-.. No, love you." I said without hesitation.
The room went silent for a few seconds. Not like I observed anyways, I was just absorbed by the moment itself. Yes, Kiyoko, the one who owns my heart, has put a love spell on me, which I hope that will last forever.
- "You.. Do too?" She smiled as we kissed, this time though, it was more passionate, but also delicate at the same time. Everyone cheered, clapping their hands, especially Yams. Yachi was smiling while looking at us. Maybe she wasn't really that bad of a person... Well, at least for now. I couldn't force her to love me after all, but I'm happy that she found her true love. I haven't seen Yamaguchi this happy in my life, the same goes for Yachi. Maybe they are made to be with each other after all.
Some people say that soulmates are born from the same star, and that the star divides in two before it lands on Earth, us being born afterwards. Our mission as humans usually is to find our other half, that completes us, but some aren't so lucky. Some die without even knowing who is their half they should have spent their life with. The thought scared me. What if Kiyoko is the same as Yachi?... What if she's just using me?... No no no, that's not true. She's different, I can feel it from the deepest parts of my heart and soul.
Even if the thought of not finding my soulmate until I die scares me, I still believe that I will. Though, in my case, the chances of finding my other half is 50%, because everyone apparently is after me. I don't know how much time I still have left to be alive down here, on Earth, but I want to spend the rest of it happily with someone by my side. With anyone that I love.
