"Hello, you taking the usual?" The convenience store employee  greeted the young man who had just entered the shop. Nodding and smiling back to greet the clerk, Arthit went on to looking for food—processed and microwavable convenience store—and other snacks he can eat. A little amazed how the employee easily remembered him and what he usually eats. Unlike his supposed mother (step mother) who only seemed to remember that his name is Arthit and that he's gay.

It's been almost two years since he moved out—kicked out actually—from his parent's house, but that fact didn't make him miss the home he's lived in for 23 years. For him, it felt like just any other day since he usually spends most of his time outside anyways since he studied college. Always outside, either working his ass off, hanging out with his friends, or just enjoying his time before coming back to his parents' house where he never really felt invited in—his dad was fine but his step-mom, not so much—ever since they found out the young man wanked off to cute guys in band posters rather than sexy girls in magazines, it was never the same. And so, a after a year of working after graduation, his step-mother finally had a good reason to kick out his gay ass off the house he lived and grew up in.

"Anything else?" Oak, the grocer asks Arthit who was now paying for the chips, and of course his freshly microwaved processed food. Arthit shakes his head and pays when he suddenly remembers an important item he needed to stock.

"Ah no actually, do you have pink milk?" The fair skinned male asks the store employee, remembering that he has ran out of the sweet pink drink he has somehow turned into a comfort drink in his apartment.

"I think we still do. I usually place it in the left part next to the chocolate flavoured ones." Arthit curtly nods his head and turns around, walking towards the store fridge.

"Hey Kongpob, hello Nong Dae." He hears the store employee greet another customer but he couldn't care less. Especially when he's on his way to getting the love of his life (pinkmilk). His eyes scanning the displayed drinks and beverages on the huge wall chillers and built in fridge.

"Hi Oak." The newly arrived customer greets the employee back.

"Dae, go get something for yourself while I catch up with P'Oak first, okay?" Kongpob tells the seven year old boy he came in with who eagerly nods his head and replies.

"Okay." And just like that the younger male went on to looking for his favourite drink. On the left corner, second level, next to the bottled chocolate drinks. That's where his favourite pink milks are placed. His eyes twinkling at the sight of his cold sweet drink, Dae opens the store fridge and reaches for it when another hand overlaps his and takes the only bottle of pink milk left. Frowning, he turns around and sees a tall pale skinned male holding the drink.

"Hey! I was about to get that." Dae says his hands on either side of his small hips. Lips pouty in displeasure.

"But I got it first so it's mine." Arthit says sassily. Not caring at all if he looked a little immature fighting with a kid over a sweet drink. What? It's called comfort drink for a reason.

Frowning even more when the older male was obviously not giving him his drink. Dae started feeling his tears welling up on his eyes.

"Oh shit, are you crying?" Arthit asks, panicking a little when he started seeing the glistening eyes of the small kid.

"No." Dae replies but his face told otherwise, he really was trying to hold back his tears but the stranger really just had to ask if he was crying.

"Papa Koooong" the younger male starts wailing making Arthit panic and look around for the kid's guardian or something. But what he sees was most probably an angel disguised in a cute blue sweater and round glasses so people wouldn't suspect him.
