"Singto.." Krist mumbles in his sleep making the other boy freeze.

Flashbacks of memories from their past life coming back to him like a movie. Tears falling from the sides of his cheeks, his heart beating fast. He feels strong arms wrap around him.

"Please, don't ever leave me again." A sad longing voice speaks near his ears. Singto was so confused.

"Kit.." the small framed male says. His throat suddenly felt dry and he was shaking. The warmth and security Krist has given him in the past were all coming back to him. The soft smiles, the loving gaze, everything.

"Don't be scared my love.."

Flashback

"Don't be scared my love." a pale man says as he waited for his lover to jump over the bricked wall of the huge mansion. The fall to the ground was double his height but jumping at such an elevation was nothing much. They usually sneaked out together but not this way, since their little affair was snitched by one of the servants who secretly held feelings for the young master, the couple had to find different ways to get out of the giant mansion just to be able to spend time together.

The love between the only son of a wealthy-noble family and the son of the family painter wasn't really smiled upon by some people, important ones at least. Love between two men or women were tolerated by most since the king himself had a male concubine that he then fell in love with and married. Since he was the king and he was in power, people accepted it and went along with the thought despite some elders thinking of it as an abomination.

With Krist's family being one of the families who believed that love had no labels. Singto, belonging to one of the oldest noble bloodline, had trouble expressing his love for the son of the painter.

Krist thought that if only he belonged in one of the nobles or at least had fortune himself or in their family, his lover's family—grandparents specifically— would have easier trades of accepting him and marrying the noble man off. But he didn't.

"Easy for you to say. You're already on the ground." Singto whines. Krist chuckles and spreads his arms wide to show the other that he'll catch him once he jumps.

"Come on now, jump or do you want to spend the rest of this beautiful sunny afternoon in the confines of your room with your boring books?" Krist teases and Singto could only sigh. Swearing under his breathe before jumping off the tall wall. Successfully landing in the strong arms of his lover who was smiling proudly at him. Krist was carrying him bridal style, and the young man, after calming down a little from thee adrenaline, wraps his arms around Krist's neck.

"See? It wasn't that hard." Krist says before pecking the other's forehead. Singto giggles and playfully hits the strong chest.

"Put me down already, the guards might catch us." Singto says but Krist shakes his head then grins wide as he starts walking into the woods to their secret place.

"Never."

"Krist Perawat. It's either you put me down or I will, quote unquote 'spend the rest of this beautiful sunny afternoon in the confines of my room with my boring books'."

"Really? You can do that?" Krist teases, sniff kissing Singto's neck, causing the other to blush and hide himself on Krist's chest.

"Shut up." Singto says under his breathe, the endearing gesture always making him weak. And Krist, knowing about this little weakness, was just abusing it some times.

The two men continued to walk through the trees and bushes, coming through, they find the path to the small cottage along the hidden lake Krist's father had built for his son as a gift. To open the extremely heavy door, Krist had to put his lover down who was glad to feel his feet back to the ground.
