Chapter 49: A Sword Must Be Made

CHAPTER 49: A SWORD MUST BEMADE

It was night time. Ryu and his companions sat around a fire. The defeated Dark ninja were with them.

"We've sent the Dragons to warn the ryu and the resistance" Michael said.

"That sheath Rokkan is carrying. It holds the Sword Of Rai doesn't it?" Ken asked.

"Yeah, so?" Rokkan said coolly.

"So let me see it! You haven't showed it to us since you got back!" Ken yelled angrily.

"Really? I hadn't noticed" Rokkan said as he unsheathed the Sword Of Rai from the sheath he was carrying on his back.

"WHOA! AMAZING!" everyone exclaimed in awe at the sight of the powerful lightning blade.

Rokkan sheathed the Sword Of Rai.

"So Ryu, any idea on how to create your sword?" Rokkan asked.

"Nope" Ryu said.

"What?! Then what the heck do you think you're doing goofing off or isn't the fate of the world enough responsibility?!" Rokkan scolded Ryu.

Ryu rubbed his ears.

"You're so damn loud!" he said.

"SAY WHAT?!" Rokkan roared.

"Nothing. Master Hiroku actually gave me a clue on how I should create my sword" Ryu said.

"Really?" Rokkan asked.

"He said that my sword must be infused with all my positive feelings" Ryu said.

"And you think that's actually a clue. You and your master are nuts in the same shell, in every sense of the expression" Rokkan said.

Atlanta created a crystal blade.

"Here" she said as she handed it to Ryu.

"What for?" Ryu asked.

"Use it to create your sword" Atlanta said.

Ryu looked at the crystal blade for a while and accepted it with a smile.

"Thanks Atlanta" Ryu said.

Atlanta blushed shyly.

"It must be a really special sword so take this" Rokkan said as he handed Ryu his pendant and a block of earth.

The others stared at him in surprise. Then one by one, they presented Ryu with pieces of their elements. Nadia gave Ryu her Snowstorm pendant as well and Ryu added his Nova medallion and the Ryu medallion to the list of items.

"Great! So now I have the elemental materials. All that's missing is..." Ryu was saying when Shroud and Anna walked up to him.

"WAIT! YOU'LL NEED THIS AS WELL!" Anna called as she presented him with a piece of dark element.

"Dark elements are well known for their ability to absorb energy" Shroud said.

"Aren't you betraying Nemesis?" Ryu asked.

"More like saving him" Shroud said with a smirk.

Ryu accepted the Dark element. Then he drew an outline of a great sword on the ground and created a hollow in its shape.

"Rokkan, can you create a forge for me out of this?" Ryu asked.

Rokkan formed a seal and that part of the ground arose with the hollow of the great sword within it. Rokkan hardened the forge. Ryu looked at the forge and a determined expression showed on his face.
