Chapter 10: The Destruction of The Skywalker Lightsaber

Y/N's P.O.V

After taking down the first few Rey and I separate to deal with the rest of the guards individually.

I kicked one away and then kicked the one on my right in the leg knocking him down. I then elbow the one on my left and grab him by the neck and throw him to the ground.

As I move around to avoid hits I have two guards swing at me from both sides. I block it with my saber, but they mange to force me backwards slightly. I break off the attack and see a third guard come at me but I stab him through the chest and throw him into something on the ground destroying his body.

After doing so I lift my lightsaber up to my eye and look at the enemies that are circling me. As I'm looking at them I hear Rey scream.

I look in her direction and see she got her arm cut open by one of the guards she was fighting one on one.

When I see this I feel the angry rise up in my body.

I look around, and block attacks from two of the guards whilst spinning around. I block an attack from the third guard and my saber gets dragged across the floor.

I then bring myself down on to one knee spin round and cut one of the guards heads off. I then turn to face the other three.

I fight one of the guards one on one and I slice his chest killing him. I then grab his staff and use it in sync with my lightsaber to fight of the a guard.

After killing that guard with both my lightsaber and the staff the final guard swings at me, I mange to dodge it but I drop both my lightsaber and the staff. The final guard then gets me in down to my knees and in a head lock.

As I'm struggling I see Rey in a lock also, but then she drops her saber catches it in her other hand and kills the guard.

She then turns to see me.

Rey: Y/N!

Y/N: Throw it!

She throws the lightsaber I catch it and quickly activate it putting it through the guards head and killing him and deactivating it just as fast. The guard drops to the floor.

Once I stand I throw the guards staff to the floor, I then force pull my lightsaber to myself and clip it on my belt.

I start to walk over to Rey

Y/N: So I guess that small amount of saber training paid off.

Rey: I did some on my own too.

Y/N: Yeah I know. Hey, so thanks for showing up...

Before I could finish she punched me in the face.

I then wipe the small amount of blood from my lip.

Y/N: Yeah, okay, that's fair. I deserved that.

Rey: Damn right you did.

Y/N: Look Rey, words can't explain how sor...

Before I could finish she jumps into my arms and kisses me deeply. I keep her off the ground by holding her in the air.

After about a minute she pulls away and I gently put her down, but she still hold me close.

Rey: (Whispers) Don't you dare ever scare me like that again do you understand me? I thought I'd lost you.

Y/N: (Whispers) I'm so sorry Rey, but don't worry I plan on making it up to you.

Rey (Whispers) I'll hold you to that, because when we get back to the Resistance, when we get back home. I'm never letting you go again.

I smile at this.
