Chapter 2 - Green Like The Hulk
If you get given homework, do it or you'll end up like me. Doing the English homework that I didn't finish in the library after school on a cloudy afternoon. Missed the God damn bus and now walking home in the God damn cold without a God damn jacket on and only a God damn cotton tee to keep it warm but no.
To entertain my loneliness, I take my phone and ear phones out of my pocket and slid them into my ear. Turning on the iTunes top 20 count down with Peking Duk starting the walk home. I was going to call Patrick since he got a free period today but he'd be out with Bonnie. His...girlfriend. She always says that I'm too clingy but thats only because us twins look out for eachother. That's right sadly Patrick is my twin.
After what happened in last period, I was blanked out like a drunken person punched me. The note. The people. The looks. The stares. The words. The person. Who unfortunately is in my mind playing it like a puppet on strings. My brains hooked on strings and the note writer (that's the name im calling him, I have a very sad life to come up with these things) is twirling it around being a villein with an evil laugh.
How did I even think of that?
'Frances May, I like you'
'It's true you know'
The words just keep coming and replaying over and over and over again making me mentally slap myself inside. "Ouch." I groan under my breath, as I rub the side of my face. The wind keeps blowing so I'll end up like Olaf and not melt at all making me turn into a snowman. Well in that case a snow-woman. I compare a lot of things to myself. I rub my arms to try and get rid of the goose bumps hovering across my bare skin.
Hopefully the rain dosen't come down while I'm walking otherwise I'll be drenched from head to toe enough to make Frances Falls. It will be $500 a ticket because I'm not in the mood to make an attraction.
I finally reach my house which I'm glad for even though my family drives me nuts, I'm glad for coming home for once. Skipping up the steps and grabbing my house keys from the back of my pocket. I turn off the music exploding in my ears then unlock the door. "I'm home!" I yell out pushing the door closed. Patrick then comes rushing up to me with an excited expression look on his face. "What's wrong Pat?" I ask placing my bag on the seat in the hallway.
Like whatever Patrick is happy about this isn't normal. Especially when his twirling around and swinging into his drink bottle, you never know what his taken maybe even happy drugs or drunk.
Patrick skips up to me with a big giant grin on his face wishing makes me more determined to wipe it off until there's only a darn plastic nose sitting there. He takes my hands and twirls me around a lot that I have to let go to set myself steady.
"Patrick." I mumble watching him attempting to climb onto the couch. "PATRICK!" I yell louder as he falls on his side groaning. Now that did the trick to get it off.
Rolling my eyes at my dramatic brother, I walk over to the weird side of Patrick who's attempting to get up while struggling and collapsing once again. "What's your deal?"
"Huh? What do you mean Fran?" He frowns.
Are you serious dude...
Ugh.
"Why are you so happy and dancing around like you have fire ants down your pants?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
He shrugs at the answer and gets off the wooden floor for once and sits on the leather arm of the couch. "I finally broke up with that Bonnie Bitch. She wasn't worth it and apparently she was only after all this." He finishes gesturing his body with a smirk.
