Chapter 19 - Like It's They're Mother
When someone says go hug that tree, you do it since there's no risk you see. But when someone says jump off a bridge or more like a pier, I guess you could not do it while the person in the water, 1 metre below keeps shouting at you to jump in cold water while dolphins roam about near.
Do you jump or be a scared and give in by not and running back home?
Since I'm in my case, that's not really possible when your best friend...the one who you were making out with just a few minutes ago...keeps threatening you to jump while swimming in his shorts and I'm standing above him wearing all my clothes but still not going to jump since I've got contacts and I'm afraid if they will fall out and sink to the bottom of the lake.
Apart from that point in my head, I don't think I can go go swimming because I'm in my clothes and if I undress then I'll be wearing my underwear in public. Embarrassing.
"Come on, Frannie Boo!" Nathan yells and laughs from the water below. "The water isn't filled with fish!"
I glare at him and huff. "I'm not going in the water because-"
"Your on your lady days?" He cuts in that makes me red. "You don't need to show me what colour it is you know!"
"Shut-up Nathan Bacon!" I tell him. "I was about to say that I'm not wearing anything to swim in."
He smiles that makes me curious. "Wear your underwear! No ones looking and besides we are well hidden you weirdo!"
"No! I'm not wearing my underwear in front of you." I frown.
"Really Frannie Boo?" He mocks me. " A few minutes ago you and I were just making out! In public I might add."
Soon I'm going to rub that smirk right off his face if he says something else embarrassing. But I have to admit, I did think he was a good kisser. "Fine." I mumble.
"What was that?" He plays.
"I said, Fine!" I glare at him. "But I'm wearing your shirt and also please turn around." He smiles and does what his told. I look around before taking my jeans off.
The sun is starting to fade behind the hills at the lighthouse. Pink, purple and orange was painted above making the scenery beautiful. I stop looking at the sky and pull of my jeans and shirt, looking back at Nate just incase if he would trick me into turning back around which I recon he would. I slip on his shirt and take a deep breath.
"Nathan, do you think that my contacts will fall out?" I call out to him and wait for him to respond.
"I'm not sure but if your worried then climb down the ladder and I'll catch you in my arms just like a fairy tale." He smirks, making me roll my eyes.
I think about this for a minute before I'm already walking over to the ladder that drips down into the ocean. The moss and oysters are living on it like it's they're mother.
"If you don't catch me then it'll be all your fault that I can't see." I tell him before I start climbing. Before I stop at the bottom, his already behind me and hopefully going to kicked in the face I he just doesn't catch me. "Ready?"
"Yes, your majesty." He mocks a royal voice and I jump, into his arms.
Apart from the wind that was blowing my hair everywhere and the refreshing water soaking through Nate's t-shirt that made my bra visible, it was perfect, just like Nathan except he doesn't know that when his looking straight into my eyes and that hand gesture that he just did when you brush a girls hair over their ear that makes them shiver like a breathless chipmunk that finally found an acorn on a tree. I start to smile as he wraps my legs around his waist and nuzzles his face into my neck.
"What's wrong?" I ask him, stroking his wet locks.
He hums into my neck that makes me ticklish and start to giggle. "Nothing, I just want to say that I'm glad that I came to visit you here. Especially now that your looking more beautiful than ever."
I stare at him and smile, cupping his face and bringing it closer to brush his lips with mine.

From then, me and Nathan went to go see a movie that Cody invited me to see but I had to turn him down and tell him that I had to go back home suddenly which is a lie that Nathan texted him.
On our way back home, we got some gelato from a small shack along the shore. Nathan kept holding it up to his nose and calling himself Pinocchio but he stopped after I hit the cone on his nose and said that his a real boy.
Once we got home, his nose was finally washed and non sticky from the toppings. Grandma hadn't gotten home until we finished having a shower, separately of course. She had bought Chinese takes away that we couldn't eat from all the popcorn and gelato so Grandma just simply put it in the fridge for her to eat tomorrow because today was my last day and I really did enjoy it because Nathan made it wonderful.
Grandma went to watch Days Of Our Lives when me and Nathan went to bed. He was treated to the sofa while I still had the bed of heaven to sleep on. I thought it was funny when I woke up in the middle of the night with his body at the end of the bed with a small blanket covering him then I 'accidentally' pushed him of the bed with my feet while I was 'asleep'. When I heard him grunt and swear, it was so hard to hold in the laughter but I ended up pretending to snore away the giggles.
Except when I woke up, those giggles were gone, especially when I had awoken up to an unexpected face that Nathan might want to start running away from.
To get me back from pushing him off the bed, he drew a heart on my cheek and quoted 'N+F' then he put a moustache across the top of my lips. I tried so hard to rub it off while he was choking through his laughter, Grandma wasn't a help either when she too thought my face was hilariously funny.
But all good things have to come to an end. We were off in Nathan's car with his crappy music, Grandmas Chinese takeout food and an annoying urge to whack Nathan's head with a shovel so I can then sharpie his face off.

so I may be about a month and a half late from updating but trust me, it was school work again! and kind off distracted by Damon and Stefan Salvatore with a massive marathon of the vampire diaries. but anyways I hope you enjoyed the chapter and I have an announcement btws! i have a new book called 'Odyssey' coming out shortly and in about a week I will post the copyright and info of it so its very exciting news!
