"Drop her home by dinner" Jaanvi said to Manik who was smiling from ear to ear.
"Sure aunty" he said and kissed her cheeks.
"Chale" he asked Nandini who was in between Anika and Gauri fidgeting with her dupatta.
"Don't worry, its gonna be fine" Anika said taking her in a side hug, and Gauri did the same from other side. Nandini passed them a small smile, hugged Jaanvi before following Manik. He entwined their fingers and passed her a smile and blinked his eyes assuring her and she passed him a nervous smile.
He opened the door of his car for her and she sat down clumsily.
"Manik, I am scared" Nandini said sitting in the passanger seat. Manik just smiled and fastened her seatbelt that she forgot in nervousness.
He didn't reply adding to her misery and started the car. He played the music to divert her attention but it didn't work. She was silent but was fidgeting with everything. Manik stopped the car close to their house and finally turned to her. He cupped her face and placed his lips on hers shocking her. Manik bit her lip, to break her trance and she just followed his lead and kissed him back closing her eyes. Manik kissed her so deeply and passionately that Nandini had a hard time keeping up with him and she lost the battle.
Manik broke the kiss 5 minutes later and Nandini was flushed her hair all over the place, her lipstick smudged. Manik pecked her lips again and moved back. He tucked her hair behind her ears and wiped the lipstick that was spread around.
"Take deep breath, and clean yourself up. They will love you, so you don't have to worry about anything. Just be yourself okay" he said with a smile and she nodded her head with a blush adoring her cheeks.
