"yes I am.." Nandini replied in the same attitude

"you are not supposed to say that..." he whined

"guess what I did" she was no less

"princess... listen to me" Shivaai jumped into the scene to control it before it turns worse

"bhai... please he ate up my cake and said he will do anything to make it up for that and you don't support him now" she told him in an annoyed tone

"bhai what is wrong with her... how will I wear a girl's dress.... No I will not do this... anything else is fine" Manik said in a pleading tone looking at Shivaai.

"he is my bhai not yours" Nandini roared

"uffo... you have a problem in everything... I am not stealing your bhai that you are acting all cranky like a 2 year old" Manik argued

"did you just call me a 2 year old on my 22nd birthday???" Nandini retorted angrily placing her hands on her waist and Manik gulped.... Everyone around was passing helpless glances to each other as they didn't understand what to do

"see I said ill do anything to make it up, but that doesn't mean ill dress up like a girl..." Manik tried in a convincing tone with a puppy face. Nandini was almost about to give up but

"and why cant you do that ??" Twinkle stepped forward crossing her hands on her chest and continued "you did a mistake and you deserve punishment... Nandu don't back off"

"I would have killed you if you were not Kunj's girlfriend" Manik said gritting his teeth and Twinkle laughed sarcastically at his attempts to scare her, fueling his anger.

"enough of this drama... Nandu come with me" Janvi dragged Nandini with her as now this argument was gaining attention of people around and she didn't want anyone to speak bad about Nandini.

"but ma" she tried to protest but Janvi cut her off "listen to me first and come with me" she said in a strict tone and Nandini nodded obediently and made a sad face and walked away with her.

"im so sorry for Nandu's behavior, she becomes a cranky kid sometimes" Shivaai said turning towards Abhimanyu who just shrugged it off saying "hey Shivaai don't apologize, it was Manik who had started all this. In fact I should be saying sorry for all the disturbance created by him"

Manik was standing behind Mukti all this while as he was scared of Abhi and Cabir's reaction.

"are why are you saying sorry to each other.... Don't worry Manik will apologize to Nandini for spoiling her mood on her birthday... right Manik?" Cabir said looking at Manik who was looking at the floor and just nodded his head in a yes.

"haha... Nandu's mood will be fine with a cup of ice-cream... no need of sorry and all... enjoy the party" Shivaai ended the discussion casually and patted Manik's back before leaving from there.

"jiju I really didn't know that she would come back... that's the ONLY reason I ate that cake... im sorry" Manik said as soon as Shivaai was out of sight.

"Manik come with me and say sorry to Nandini and give the gifts that we forgot to give" Mukti covered up for him before her husband and devar could pounce on him.
