"Manik are you serious about what you told Nandini?" Mukti asked him while Navya filled in the details for Aliya. The sisters shared a look and were now standing in front of him with hands crossed across their chest.

"Di vo mai" Manik looked everywhere but them, but he could even escape because they didn't leave any space for him to jump off the slab, very well knowing his antics.

"Vo mai kya, speak up!" Aliya said angrily making him shrink in fear.

"Aliya" Mukti whispered making her roll her eyes.

"Great, now you deal with him" she said and whacked Manik's head making him wince in pain.

"Didi yaar, you know how much time it takes to set hair like that, and you spoiled everything now." he whined setting his hair.

"Mannu" Navya called him in a stern tone and he knew that his last try also failed.

"Vo, Di, I am serious yaar. She is saying ki she doesn't want to come here and I cant take that. Let her settle down then we can adjust as per her choice" he said pouting making his sisters smile.

"Okay, as you both decide" Mukti said cupping his cheeks and kissed his forehead.

Later the same night

Location: Oberoi Mansion – Tej and Jaanvi's bedroom

"Tej" Jaanvi tried to catch his attention, who was reading his office file, he just hmm'ed in reply.

"Manik spoke to Nandu last night and they decided on something, but I think we have to talk to Manik's grandparents" she said taking the file away from his hand, making him frown.

"What did he say and what did they decide and what do we have to talk to Manik's grandparents" he asked her a series of questions. Jaanvi sighed at his nature and filled him all the information. By the end of it Tej's eyes had widened as saucers and few seconds later, he started laughing.

"Tej stop laughing, this is serious" she said slapping his hand which made him laugh louder.

"She is sure our daughter and Shivaai and Om's sister, who could have thought that my innocent baby could cut herself a deal like that" he said chuckling.

"Tej, this is serious, stop joking around. We tried to convince her, and she agreed as well. But then Manik told her this and now she wants this to happen it like that, I am so confused, what should I tell her and what to talk to Manik's grandparents" she shared her worries with her husband. Tej held her hands and said in a loving tone.

"Jaanvi, we know she is a kid sometimes but she is mature enough to understand. I know she is stubborn too, but what I am pretty sure is, when she will get married, she will understand her responsibilities and act accordingly. She will visit us anytime she wants, and she is welcome her any day and anytime of the year. She knows that, she just needs some time to adjust and understand. So for the time being, lets just leave it to the kids to figure out. Stop getting worried, you look old when you get stressed, and I would look young next time we go out together" he said the last line with a smirk and Jaanvi's eyes widened, when she processed his last line.

"Tej" she said angrily and he laughed hugging her close and kissed her forehead.

"Shush, now sleep and let me sleep also. I have to leave a bit early tomorrow morning, have a meeting at 9" he said and dimmed the lights in the room.
