(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I stuttered out a breathy laugh. "Niki!" I repeated my words.

"(Y/N) is that actually you?"

"Yes, the one you met in America when you were a baby."

"The one I left behind when I was four?"

"Exactly."

"Oh my, I never expected to see you aga- AHH!" She got jumpscared, I assume.

I laughed softly, still the same old Niki. "You good?" Kathy asked.

"Yeah, just a jumpscare." Niki breathed. I was correct.

"How do you two know each other to begin with? I don't think I've introduced you two?" Kathy continued to move around the house in game.

"Oh no she was my best friend that moved to Germany when I was four, before you were born." I answered, looking to the game screen.

"Yeah... sorry 'bout that."

"Nothing you could have done." I shrugged, "plus, you were four."

"... true."

"Huh. I've never heard you talk about it." Kathy did a task in the game.

"Hm, never thought I'd actually see her again."

"Well, I'm here now." Niki giggled.

"Yeah." I smiled.

Next day

"Hello may I take your order?" I asked at the cash register, writing a girl's name on the cup violently. It was about 6pm, and I was tired of working already.

"(Y/N)." I heard a voice say. I looked up, it was Niki.

"Niki!" I smiled happily. "What brings you to this cafe?" I put the cup down.

"I guess I just wanted to try out a new cafe." She smiled. "You work here?"

"I own the shop." I laughed lightly. "Just me working here for now, it has been only a week since we opened. Now, what would you like?"

"Just a latte." She smiled, "is it alright if I work here?"

"Of course! Take a seat!" I gestured to the various chairs and sofas, "I don't mind at all, and the wifi pass is on the wall."

"Oh thank you, how much would that be?"

"It's fine, I'll cover it. It's nice to meet you for the first time in 21 years." I clicked some buttons on the register, before looking up to Niki again.

"Same, you've grown taller, I guess."

"You have too."

"When... Do you close?"

"8pm... why?"

"Would you like to come over to my house after work?"

I smiled, "if that's alright."

"Nice."

"Is that for here or to go?"

"For here." She gave a sweet smile.

"Alright, you can go take a seat." I waved over to the seating again, smiling back.

"Thank you, (Y/N)."

"Of course." I took off to make the latte. Steaming the milk, making the espresso, pouring the milk into a little heart. Because that's the easiest, and I guess it was cute. I carefully brought the cup to the woman, setting it on the table in front of her. "Here's your latte." I announced.
