NOTE: guess yall either gotta grow or stay the same, because I'm making (Y/N) about 5'10 or something like 175. So yeah, short ppl! You get to be tall!

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"(Y/N)!" I heard Niki's voice greet as I walked towards the bottom of her building.

"Niki!" I greeted her, arriving in front of her. "How are you?"

"I'm good, I'm good." She smiled, and I smiled back. "Shall we get going?"

"Yes of course," I held my arm up for Niki to take, and she took it with a small giggle.

"So y'know how I said a few friends?" The shorter woman started sheepishly.

"Oh no." I gave a nervous chuckle.

"Yeah, so my friend Wil, Wilbur, he went and told a friend of his that it was happening, and the guy decided to come over with another friend of his, y'know, TommyInnit?"

"Oh Tommy, yeah him?"

"Yeah and you know Tubbo?"

"I pretty much know all of Kathy's friends."

"Okay so Tommy invited Tubbo, and Tubbo told Jack, and Jack told George, and- I don't know how this happened but someone told Philza, and he's going to bring his wife."

"That's..."

"Nine people."

"Wait but then Tommy's girlfri-"

"She's doing a minecraft competition."

"Ah."

"And Kathy and Nathan?"

"They might be there, who knows."

"Oh no."

"Anyways, so... good luck."

"I'll be fine. I think."

"Good." She laughed, and hiked her messenger purse higher up her shoulders to keep it from falling, bumping her head into my shoulder a little. "Oh sorry."

"No worries." I smiled a little down to the girl.

"We're almost there, by the way."

"Pog."

"Pog." She echoed, rubbing her thumb up and down the strap of her purse, the arm wrapped around mine a little tighter.

"What's wrong?" I asked, a slightly concerned tone in my voice.

"I haven't seen them in a while, and y'know, I'm happy to see them again, but a little nervous at the same time."

"You'll be fine. One, you have me." I joked, "And two, you haven't seen me in like twenty years."

"You're different." She laughed.

"How so?"

"You're like my fucking soulmate. It doesn't matter how long it has been."

Blood flushed to my cheeks, and I took on a slightly defensive pose, arm wrapping around Niki's tighter too, bringing her slightly closer to me. "What the- that was so sweet."

"You alright?"

"You don't pull the soulmate card out of nowhere."

"I just did." She smiled, amused.

"Damn it."

"What's wrong, you flustered~?" Niki teased with a laugh.

"So what if I was?"
