Our twisted Fate

𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖂𝖎𝖈𝖐𝖊𝖉 𝕼𝖚𝖊𝖊𝖓

Comet walked down the hall of her castle staring directly ahead focused on the task at hand. She entered a large room with a crystal table in the middle that had different kingdoms marked on it some with Xs through them.

"My Queen."  A voice said behind Comet.

Comet glanced over her shoulder seeing her most trusted guard Kia. They were childhood friends so she knew she could trust him with her plans to over throw her siblings and have a powerful kingdom where everyone feared her. Because she learnt the hard way that if they can't love you then they might as well fear you instead.

"Hello Kia. Did you gather anymore information about my brothers plans?" Comet asked, as she turned to face him.

Kia nodded.

He walked over his long purple robe flowing out behind him as he walked. He adjusted his hair so it was out of his face before sitting down at the table as Comet sat on the other side of the waiting with her fingers intwined with one another and her mouth pressed against them waiting for the information that could possibly change the whole war completely with .

"So we learnt that queen Star has found shelter at your brothers kingdom." Kia said simply.

"I knew she would. She can't stay hidden forever." Comet said as she moved her hands away from her mouth and carefully tapped her nails along the delicate crystal table top.

The two continued to discuss their plans noting down a route to the Neverlight where they wouldn't be detected. A smirk spread across Comets pale face as a small cackle escaped her throat.

"Perfect.."

Kia was the first to stand as he took the orders that Comet wrote out and went to give it to the general. This plan was set in stone. The attack will happen tonight and the kingdom will fall to Comets wrath.

Comet soon left the war room and went to a hall way that decorated in marble and in front of her was two locked golden doors. The doors opened magically as quiet mechanical noise was heard as the doors lowly opened. The room was covered in nature which had crept its way inside. Moss had spread across the floor and walls and grass had cracked through the delicate tiles on the floor. In the centre of the room rested 3 stone tombs each tomb had the names of the siblings written in silver ink on golden plates. The brothers have apples in graved in the tops while stars had a single star.

"Once all of you are out of my way I'll be able to do whatever I want to your people.." Comet said coldly as a twisted glint appears in her dark grey eyes.

She left the room as the goldens doors slid close behind her as a locking mechanism went off containing the tombs in the room. As she walked down the hall guards rushed down the courtyard in unison as they prepared for the attack that will happen.

Kia stood watch of them all with his hands behind his back. His cloak flowing to the side of him as he kept a stern look on his face making sure that nobody stepped out of line. His mind began to wonder as he thought about the queen as he got a short glance of her from the large stained windows that went across the corridor. A small smile appeared on his face as he watched her before he looked back at the guards who were fighting one another.

Soon nightfall came and the sky became a eerie black with dark clouds covering the bright moon. Kia was out in front of the body of guards as he lead them through the withered forest. The guards footsteps filled the silence as they marched beside each other holding their spears and wands as they followed they're commander slowly exiting Evershade.

It wouldn't be long until they reached Neverlight where the battle will soon begin..
