The darkened sky slowly began to brighten as dawn broke over the fallen kingdom. Dust blew throughout the fallen homes and stores and the brothers stood in the town square holding the few survivors they could find. The little girl clung to Dream tightly as she trembled not only from the cold that wrapped its self around the kingdom but from the sights that she had seen the night before. Nightmares arm had been bandaged and put into a sling so that it could heal while Dream focused on helping the towns people who needed medical attention.

"I can't believe I let this happen.." Nightmare hissed to himself beating himself up.

"You didn't know brother.." Dream said softly as he held a mother up gently tending to her wound.

Nightmare glared at the ground letting out a low growl as he looked at all the scattered pieces of armour of some of Comets fallen soldiers. Kia had managed to escape due to Nightmare getting pinned down by his arm but he knew that Comet was just as weak as they were. She hadn't planned far enough to see that she would be in danger as well after this attack. Dream stayed quiet as he finished working on the wounded mother. Star finally left the castle looking the the destruction that had been caused her ears pinning down against her head as smoke and dust filled her lungs causing her to cough and gag.

"Oh my stars..." Star whimpered out.

The brothers looked at their sister with blank gazes before they turned away. The towns people were finally coming back to their senses as they looked around at their fallen homes some breaking into loud sobs while others just stared in horror. Dream sighed shakily as he rubbed his face his pupils becoming dull as he tried to think of something that would help the remaining people as well as his family.

Horses could be heard approaching the withered kingdom as Nightmare quickly stood up looking at the gate that lead into the kingdom. Dream also got up onto his feet and stood beside his brother holding his bow and arrow firmly in his hand. The horses flooded into the kingdom but it wasn't an enemy attack it was an alliance. Nightmares face relaxed when he realised they weren't in any danger letting a sigh of relief out and Dream did the same making his bow and arrow disappear out his hands. The queen from Silva made her way towards the brothers smiling warmly at them.

"Hello King Nightmare. Prince Dream." Queen Flower said gently looking at the two brothers bowing to them.

"Oh Flower you don't understand how glad we are to see you." Dream said as he gently hugged her.

Flower gave him a look of surprise before hugging the positive guardian gently. Dream relaxed in her arms knowing that he was safe before he had to pull away knowing that things would get awkward between them both. Nightmare walked over and smiled gently as he shook Flowers hand gently. Flower gave his hand a gentle squeeze and gave him a smile as she looked back at her men.

"Men help the people. They are all probably hungry, frightened, tired and cold so please be gentle with them." Flower commanded but she wasn't being forceful she was being more caring. As soon as Flower finished her sentence the soldiers rushed around caring carts on horses and gave the people food, water and blankets so that they were as comfortable as possible.

The towns people thanked them a few cried while a few gave the men hugs and even more thanks for their help. The soldiers nodded but stayed silent Flower took notice of them as rolled her eyes playfully.

"You can speak. You don't have to stay silent." Flower said with a quiet chuckle as she put her hands behind her back. And just like that the soldiers began comforting the children and the weeping mothers and fathers who had lost everything. A certain soldier caught Dreams attention since they were comforting the child he had found. The child had relaxed and was finally getting some sleep against them.

"I've got you kiddo.." The soldier said softly as he rocked the child, swaying gently holding her in a blanket.

"You big softie." Flower smiled as she giggled giving the brothers a blanket and some food. "You two must of been up all night you look exhausted Nightmare."

Nightmare huffed not wanting to admit she was right. Flower gave him a look and a purple blush spread across the skeletons cheeks being embarrassed that she could read him so well. Dream chuckled as he ate the food he was given letting out a soft sigh of relief as he slowly sat down to rest.

"I'll stay for as long as I can and help you re build." Flower said as she turned to her side holding a arm out guiding the boys gaze to the building supplies that she brought. Flower had these amazing abilities where she could control nature itself and use it for her own business but she never used it for anything bad she always wanted to help people with her powers.

As the day went on most of the town had been repaired and people were slowly returning to their homes so they could grieve in their homes as well as get comfortable again. Dream and Nightmare were stood with Flower as Star was nowhere to be seen again. Dream sighed softly as he glanced around for any sight of his sister but had no luck finding her. Nightmare looked at him tilting his head a bit.

"Brother?" Nightmare questioned.

"Hm?" Dream said simply.

"What's wrong?" Nightmare asked.

Dream shrugged as he hugged himself looking around again trying to find his missing sister since she had disappeared after the appearance of Flower and her men. Flower noticed that she was missing as well as she looked around as well.

"Men look for the Queen." Flower ordered as she looked at them. They nodded as they all left to explore the kingdom in search for Star. Soon one of them found her sobbing by the fountain that was tucked away behind a bakery. Star hiccuped between her sobs as she hid her face in her arms whimpering as she muttered things to her self.

"This is all my fault..! I led them here..! I'm a horrible leader..!" Star cried as she hit her head beating herself up about the whole thing. "I shouldn't be here..!"

The soldier walked over to her slowly trying not to frighten her by his footsteps. Star paid no attention to him as she continued to sob and beat herself up about what had happened to her brothers kingdom.

"Your majesty?" The guard said softly as he stopped just as he got past the ally way entrance so he could see her clearly. Star flinched as she looked up quickly at the guard having red cheeks and puffy eyes from crying. The guards expression broke from being blank to being concerned as he looked at the broken queen in front of him. She turned away quickly hiding her face in shame as her ears pinned back as she sniffled harshly.

"I'm sorry.." Star said shakily as she kept her head turned way from the guard. The guard slowly approached her rubbing her shoulder.

"Want to talk about it?" He offered gently.

Star simply shook her head as she put her head on him gently and sniffled softly. The guard gently held her comforting her as she slowly calmed down against him and stopped crying. He softly removed his helmet as his long white hair fell down over his shoulders as his icy  blue eyes rested down on the broken queen in her arms. Star glanced up at him a bit sniffling softly noticing that he wasn't human. He was a wolf.

"What's your name..?" Star asked softly.

"Frost." Frost said softly.
