As the sun began to set over Neverlight the brothers went to check on their sister who had barley managed to escape the hell that was set upon her kingdom.

Dream and Nightmare walked into the throne room where Star sat at the dinning room table looking deep in thought with her hands cupped and her head resting on it. Dream gently put a hand on his sister shoulder as she slowly lifted her head up to look at home.

"Hello sister.." Dream said calmly as he gave her a gentle smile.

Star gave him a small smile back before looking back down at the table letting out a shaky sigh her outfit being torn and burnt from the attach Comet had planted on her kingdom without her notice. She had to flee before she was killed in the attack leaving all her people defenceless and vulnerable. Nightmare took a seat beside his sister gently holding her hand as he rubbed it with his thumb.

"I'm so sorry Star.." Nightmare said as he looked at her.

Tears welled up in the young queens eyes as she tried to keep herself together in front of her two elder brothers. Nightmare sensed the pain in her sister and gently pulled her close into his embrace rubbing her back gently. Star finally cracked and sobbed into her brothers chest knowing that she failed to keep her people safe and letting them get slaughter because she fled her kingdom.

Dream looked down a bit as he sighed shakily trying to ignore the harsh cramping in his chest from the negativity he was taking in from Star. He wanted to be there for his sister but they pain in his soul was getting to harsh for him to handle so he had to pull away from them for a minute. Star shook her head as she stopped crying when she noticed that Dream was suffering and she didn't want to cause anymore pain to anyone else.

"I think I'll just go to my room.." Star said quietly as she slowly stood up out of her chair. Nightmare grabbed her hand gently as he pulled her close again.

"Don't go Star we're here to help you." Nightmare said softly as he stroked Stars hair gently as she slowly relaxed against her brother.

A low rumble spread throughout the castle as the ground began to shake. The two brother looked at one another knowing that something wasn't right. Nightmare let Star go as he walked to the large windows that were based behind the thrones.

Chaos had spread throughout the kingdom. Houses were set a blaze with flames and the towns people where running out into the streets in pure horror. Mothers and fathers a like where holding their children closely to protect them from the dangers that were surrounding them. Comets army spread into the kingdom like wild fire slaughtering people in their paths. The sound of screams and shattering souls filled the air as monsters and humans a like were killed.

Nightmares pupils shrank in horror as he watched his home come down into ruin. Dream came over and watched in horror alongside his brother.

"We have to help them brother!!" Dream cried as he covered his mouth.

Nightmare nodded as he quickly made his way to the armoury to put on a suit of armour and grab his sword. Dream quickly followed and did the same before both the brothers went to go and defend they're home. Star stood by the window staring blankly watching as the whole village came down in ruins.

Kia commanded the witches and wizards to set any remaining buildings on fire and to make sure that nobody was left. Nightmare slashed at the human from behind having pure hatred in his eyes as he glared at him. Kia staggered forward hissing as his now open wound began to bleed and stain the back of his cloak.

"Why you dirty skeleton!" Kia hissed bitterly.

Nightmare hissed back as he swung his sword again but this time Kia deflected it with his own. The two fought against each other while Dream focused on trying to save any remaining survivors. He called out for anyone but he got no response. The positive guardians hopes began to fade as he continued his way through the kingdom trying to find anyone. The sound of souls shattering filled the air making the guardian flinch and cringe as small tears formed in his eyes. A small child was crying over the corpse of her mother and younger brother and when Dream saw this his soul broke as he covered his mouth and sobbed. The positive guardian has never seen anything like this before and now that he's seeing it, it was like a living nightmare.

"Mama..!!" The small child sobbed out as she held onto her deceased mother not even noticing her brother until she pulled away seeing him under her mothers arm. The scream that came out was ear piercing and heart breaking. She was alone. Nobody was there for her anymore.

Kia slammed Nightmare into the ground stabbing his sword through the gap in his armour pinning him to the ground. Nightmare screamed out in pain as the bone fractured under the force it took to stab the sword through it.
