Comet quickly rushed inside Kais room while holding the unconscious guard in her arms. She shoved the blankets off the bed with her magic and set the guard down carefully not wanting to inflict anymore damage on him. The queen didn't know what to do since she didn't know what was wrong with him. She knew she knocked him unconscious but what if she did more damage internally and it causes some issue in the later future? She was angry with herself. She hurt the only person she had left in her life after it all fell apart all those years ago.

"I'm such an idiot.." Comet hissed to herself as she covered her face with her hands falling down onto her knees sobbing quietly.

Kai started to come too as he groaned quietly and slowly opened his eyes. Comet looked up at him having a look of pure joy in her eyes to see him awake.

"Kai..!" Comet said as she got up and hugged him carefully holding her hand to the back of his head gently. "I'm sorry..! I shouldn't of done that..!" She continued through her sobs. Kai simply looked at her confused not being hugged by her in years so it was definitely something new for him he just let her hold him since she seemed distressed. Soon Comet let go and wiped her face clean from her tears as she looked at him smiling glad to see that he's awake but Kai had a look of confusion on his face as touched the back of his head feeling the dried blood in his hair.

"What happened?" Kai asked with a slight tremor in his voice as he looked at the dried blood that has rubbed off onto his hand. He didn't look well he had gone a ghostly pale and he looked exhausted as if he hadn't slept in weeks.

"I hurt you.." Comet admitted softly as she looked down sadly.

Kai looked at her in shock surprised that she admitted what happened she never tells anyone the truth when she's at fault so why did she tell him that? Kai huffed weakly as he rested his head back against the pillows staring at the celling as he slowly closed his eyes. Comet looked at him with concern in her eyes when she noticed that the guard had gone unconscious again she tried to get her healing magic to work but she hasn't healed anything in years she's never cared enough to use it for anything or anyone.

"Ohhh isn't this entertaining.." Luna giggled as she appeared in the room as her demon tail wagged with excitement.

Comet growled at the demon as she tried to focus on healing Kai as her hands glowed a soft green and she gently placed her hands on the guards head trying to heal the wound that he had. Luna crept over to see what she was doing curiously before she used her magic to block Comets causing the green to disappear from her hands. Comet's pupils shrank as she glared at the demon angrily trying to activate her magic again without success as panic slowly started to set into her soul when she realised that Kai was loosing his body heat.

"Damn it demon let me heal him..!" Comet yelled as she glared daggers at the demon who floated beside her.

Luna let out a evil giggle as she looked at the distressed queen smirking Comet hissed as she swung her hand to try and grab her but Luna simply just backed away. Kai let out a quiet sigh before he limped down in the queens arms which sent a shiver down Comets back as her attention went immediately back onto him as more tears formed into her grey eyes. The damaged from the battle had finally set in plus the newer injury to his head had caused some minor bleeding in his brain which was also the cause of the guards declining health.

"No! Don't leave me..!" Comet cried as she held him close to her chest sobbing loudly as if she had just had her heart broken. She felt something that she hadn't felt in years and that was fear and sadness. She has caged her heart off to anyone so that this wouldn't happen again so why did it unlock now? Did she still care for people? Or was there something special about this one particular Guard. Luna finally gave in and let Comet use her magic as a bright purple light shone throughout the room as magic surrounded the guard lifting him off the bed and into the air. Comet had to cover her eyes from the light with her arms but she peeked through to see what was happening.

Small particles formed around the levitated guard and thin streams of magic wrapped their ways around his head healing the wound and the colour soon came back into his skin. The magic consumed his body creating a cocoon around him as if it was keeping him safe from the dangers outside Comet touched it carefully trying to get it to open up so she could see Kai.

Things felt cold in the cocoon but also somewhat comforting in a odd way like a soft blanket if you would want to call it that. Kai was in a fetal position as the magic continued to swirl around his figure as the colour finally returned to his skin and he began to breath softly showing that his life had finally returned after it vanished from his grasp for a short moment. Soon the shell began to break and Kai was set down carefully onto the bed looking as if he had never had a single scratch or bruise on his body. Comets eyes lit up with pure joy when she saw her friend healed and well but she didn't' dare touch him in case he disappeared again. Luna looked at him with a look of anger since she wanted him to die but he didn't and now she was probably going to get punished for what she tried to do by Comet.

"You're in big trouble demon." Comet hissed as she looked at her as the purple in her iris's turned to a obsidian black as she got up storming towards her in a blind rage. Luna flinched away quickly trying to escape the room but she had no luck since the door disappeared and so did the door that lead to the balcony trapping them all inside this single room. Comet grabbed Luna by her neck slamming her harshly against the wall which lead to it cracking but this time she didn't care if someone died her mind was just full of rage Luna struggled weakly as she gasped loudly from her lack of oxygen. The queens grip didn't loosen during this time as she held onto the demons neck harshly almost threatening to snap it.

Kai hugged Comet from behind as he whimpered softly as he weakly begged her to stop but she wasn't listening anymore she was to enraged to listen. Luna continued to struggle her eyes slowly became blood shot as well as her face becoming a darker red the world slowly started to spin before she lost consciousness going limp under Comet's grasp.

"Comet stop..!" Kai whimpered as he held onto the queen tighter since he was still weak from waking up from all the trauma.

Comet's wolf ear twitched a bit when she finally pulled her gaze away from the demon looking at the distressed male beside her. Kai had tears streaming down his face as he clung tightly to the queen muttering softly begging her to stop. Comet eventually let go of the demons neck as she fell limply on the ground Kai looked at her horrified before slowly looking back at Comet who was just starting at the wall with a blank gaze.

"Once you've recovered get the men ready.. we've wasted enough time.." Comet said quietly as her eyes returned back to normal.

Kai sniffed softly as he nodded sitting on the floor holding a hand to his head. The room was spinning because he got up to quick to prevent Comet from doing she would regret. Comet grabbed Luna with magic as she left the room and took the demon to another who lived within the castle. Dolvin was a fully black figure with crimson red eyes as he worked around in the library sorting the books back into their original places.

Comet threw Luna down in front of him as she looked up at him.

"Fix her. And quick I don't need anymore time wasted on stupid things like this." Comet hissed.

Dolvin looked down at the unconscious demon as his eyes changed their shapes to show his concern for her as he quickly knelt down to pick her up. Once he had her in his arms he quickly rushed away leaving the queen in the library.

What a waste of time..
