"I know, princess," I, again, didn't want to admit that I knew that.

"Babe, I know it's hard seeing me like this. I know you want me to get better, but I just won't. I've told you this before."

"Syd, I know, it's just-" I sighed, "You're right. I don't like seeing you like this. I want you to get better. And I've already told you, don't tell yourself you won't get better. You can get better. Think positive, like I am. It's way better than thinking negative."

"Mike, I'll try.."

"Good," I smiled.

Natalie began to cry, so I pulled her out of her carrier, got out a bottle, and said, "You want to feed her, Syd?"

She looked at me and said, "No.. I'm good.."

"Princess, you're going to feed her. You can't be afraid."

"Well I am afraid, okay? I don't want to hurt my daughter. I don't want her to get attached to me, okay? Is that alright?" She got mad.

"Princess, that's fine..."

"Michael.. I'm so sorry I keep flipping out on you. It's just, I don't want to hurt her."

"Princess, you won't. Just feed her once. Have you fed her yet?"

"Actually, no.. I always had Alyssa do it."

"Babe, you won't hurt her. It's alright."

"Okay.."

I handed Natalie to her along with the bottle, and I let her fed Natalie. She started, then looked up at me and smiled.

"I never closely looked at Natalie.. She has your eyes and your nose."

"She has your lips, though," I smiled.

"Yeah. She really is beautiful, Mike."

"Of course she is. She's your daughter."

"But she looks more like you, and that makes her beautiful," she smiled down at Natalie, and I smiled at her. I loved having this. I loved my little family.
