Lottie spent the next week thinking of nothing else. Her mind was filled with Sebastian's confession. He loved her. There was no doubt in her mind that he was telling the truth. His face had shown all his emotions.

The question was, how did she feel about him? He drove her crazy. In  good ways and bad ways. Sometimes she wanted to kill him. The rest of the time she wanted to kiss him. She felt torn in two.

She was no closer to making her decision as she finished getting ready for the wedding. She was wearing a navy blue knee length dress and black kitten heels. Her hair was up in some fancy up do that Laura had done for her.

Like most of the guests, she was booked into the hotel for the night so she didn't have to worry about getting home after a day of drinking. She knew she'd have to pace herself if she didn't want to  be passed out by the evening do. She wondered if Sebastian was here yet. Maybe when she saw him she would know.

There was a knock on the door. She opened it and saw Laura and Abby waiting for her. She smiled and grabbed her handbag. Time for a wedding.

Seb straightened his tie

Seb straightened his tie. It was nearly time to go downstairs. He was staying in the hotel where the wedding was being held. It was a big, fancy country house. A big step up from his and Celestine's quick, registry office, gunshot wedding.

Maybe one day, if she'd have him, he would be marrying Lottie in a place like this. He felt nervous about seeing her today. Had he given her enough time? Did he approach her? Did he wait for her to approach him? He was beginning to feel a bit desperate now. Surely it was simple. Either she loved him or she didn't.

He knew she wanted him physically. She could not deny that after Montreal. His younger self would have been satisfied with just that. But now he wanted it all. Her body and her heart. She already owned his.

The universe was definitely laughing at him, making him fall for his nemesis, the thorn in his side. Why had it taken him so long to realise he loved her? She had to love him. He needed her. He took a look in the mirror,  tidying his hair a little. Then he slipped on his suit jacket. Time to go.

She spotted him as soon as she entered the room. He stood out from everyone in there, the groom and best man included. Well, to her he did. He looked so handsome in his charcoal grey suit, white shirt and Aston Martin Green tie. He was sat with Lance and Otmar.

As if he sensed her presence he looked up and their eyes met. He smiled and she felt her insides turn to mush. She smiled back and followed Abby and Laura to the seats one of the ushers was directing them to.

She forced herself to stop looking at him but she could feel his eyes on her. She turned her head and found that he was indeed watching her. The registrar indicated that they were ready to begin. Joel and his brother stood up at the front. The music started. Sophie walked down the aisle on the arm of her father. Lottie thought her friend had never looked so beautiful. Joel and Sophie were so lucky to find the kind of love that some people never find in a lifetime.

Lottie wiped a tear from her cheek.  It was a happy tear.  She glanced over at Seb. He was still looking at her. She knew she couldn't keep him hanging for much longer. It wasn't fair on him. What was it going to be?

The ceremony had been beautiful. The weather had been amazing. In fact, it had been the most perfect of days. Sophie had kept her word and made sure that Lottie was not seated with Seb. She'd put her with Abby, Laura, Ollie, Matt, and some of the other Aston Martin team.

Seb was with Lance, Lance's girlfriend, Otmar and his wife, plus a few people Lottie didn't know. Lottie was thoroughly enjoying the day, but Sebastian was never far from her mind.

The evening guests had just started arriving and the seating plan  seemed to have gone out of the window. She found herself sitting next a man who introduced himself as Sophie's cousin Kyle.

"What's a beautiful woman like you doing on your own?" he said smoothly.  Lottie rolled her eyes.

"Couldn't you think of anything better than that?"  He laughed.

"I had to try it."   She returned the laugh. They got chatting and the time seemed to fly. It was nearly 11 o'clock when Lottie noticed how late it had got.

Seb glared at the man sat with Lottie. He was jealous. He wanted to go and whisk her away. She was his! But he wasn't going to cause a scene on Sophie and Joel's big day.

He watched as she headed up to the dance floor with the man. He clenched a fist at his side. He saw her remove her shoes and quickly take them back to her table. She then joined the man and a few others dancing to the cheesy Black Lace number playing.

She looked happy, he thought. He wanted her to be happy. But he wanted her to be happy with him.

After a few songs the DJ decided to slow things down.

"OK folks, time to wind things down. Here's a few for you lovers out there. "  No way, thought Seb. He wasn't having her slow dancing with anyone other than him. He jumped up and made his way over.

The sound of Secret Love Song by Little Mix and Jason Derulo came from the speakers. Just as the man was about to take Lottie in his arms, Seb stepped between them.

"Sorry mate, this dance is mine."  The man looked about to protest. Lottie turned to him.

"Kyle, thank you for a lovely evening but I do owe Sebastian a dance." Kyle shrugged and headed over to Laura. He'd figured he couldn't compete with Sebastian Vettel.

Seb pulled her into his arms, holding her tight against him. She rested her head on his shoulder. They swayed in time to the music. Lottie felt his hands on her back. She inhaled the scent of him. It was intoxicating.  Seb breathed in the smell of her shampoo. She was so beautiful. He physically ached for her.

She lifted her head and their eyes met. Lottie stared into the blue depths of his eyes and it hit her. She loved this man. She loved him more than life itself. He was the other half of her. The half she had been missing. He leant down and brushed his lips lightly over hers. Then she panicked. She felt like she couldn't breathe. She had to get away.

She pulled herself out of his arms and fled. She ran out of the open sliding doors into the gardens. She ran in bare feet trying to put as much distance between her and Seb as possible.  Seb stood there on the dancefloor. What the hell had just happened?

"What did you do to her?" Sophie accused, appearing at his side.

"Nothing. We were just dancing. I wouldn't hurt her. I love her Soph."  Sophie's face softened.

"Seb, go find her. Tell her that, not me."

"She knows. She doesn't know if she feels the same."

"She does Seb. She's just afraid. Go get your girl."

Seb pulled his tie off, discarding it on the back of his chair with his jacket. Damn. Sophie was right. He was going to get his girl.  He ran out of the doors and went in pursuit of her.
