THE UNTOLD STORY.

#chapter 23

I went up to my room and locked myself in the room. I removed all clothes and left in my inner wears, I threw myself on my bed and pulled the quilt. I cried my heart out. I just graduated and was the best student of all the lot but still feel like a looser. I had my siblings with me there but still lack parents. My dad didn't even make an effort in coming for my ceremony. And my mom? Yes she was present there but couldn't even congratulate me or even hug me when I needed the most! Why did God give me such heartless parents? Everyone was enjoying themselves with their families and I.....?

My phone started ringing so I wiped my tears and accepted the call immediately I read the caller's ID.

"Hey baby doll!"

"Hey."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Am ok. Just tired... you know I had long day!" I smiled to cover up my lie but the lool on his face tells me that he didn't buy it!

"Ahaa! Since when did you start laying? Do you think that am far away so I won't be able to realize what's bothering you. Please tell me Sara!" He called me Sara! He always calls me baby doll but right now he's damn serious, he even took my name!

" It was my graduation ceremony and mom and dad didn't even show any care and concern for me James!" I said as tears start to form in my eyes.

"Am really sorry Sara. Am there for you! You don't have to worry baby! I'll always love you. You are best thing that happened to me and it's their loss if they can't value you!" He said in a soothing voice and immediately cheered me up with his sweet talk.

" Thank love! Anha why did you call at this hour? Don't you have work?"

" Firstly, my work comes second as you arey first. Secondly, I called to congratulate my baby doll on her graduation! Thirdly, am coming back next week baby! I know it's long time but the wait will be over. My return is now confirmed for next week. Can't wait to see you!" He said as he sent a flying kiss.

I cought it and smiled at him, then I said in a soft whisper that he could hear too, " can't wait to cuddle on you and kiss you to death!" I hide my face in my  hands when he winked and chuckled.

We talked for sometimes and we ended up the call as I started packing to go to Andy for my evening! I had a lot to do for the day! I quickly showered, changed into a long pink dress, combined my hair into a ponytail, took my bag and phone and walked downstairs.

Down there I saw mom, Anna and Ella seated and talking about random girly things with pumpkin and Mike playing around. When Ella saw me she called me.

"Oh Sara! Come join us!" She said.

"I don't do gossip! I've got better things to do!" I don't know where this anger was coming from. I think seeing mom is the reason.

"Sara! What's the problem, why are you talking to Ella in that tone?" Anna questioned me.

I started walking away to get out of the house and before that happened, mom spoke up after what seems like years of silent treatment. " Sara baby, come here. Let's talk and clear up everything!" For a moment, I wanted to do that but I knew it will never change anything! I turned to look at them. Minutes passed with pin drop silence and then the door was opened and he driver was there.

"Ma'am it's ready!" He said and I nodded and gave him my bag to go ahead and keep it in my car.

I turned back and saw that mom was about to talk but I didn't give her the chance as I spoke before her, "am going our and will be late! Go to sleep if am not yet back by 11.00!"

" You can't be that late Sara! You know about the rules of this house and your dad...!" Mom said.

"Rules my foot! And dad..? What about him?  I don't care what he does with himself! Dad, dad, dad, dad... Fuck him!" I yelled and everyone was looking at me with wide eyes.
