"so we will start running from this line to the end of this field, there is also another line at that end ok? Mom will be the referee who will look at us all as we run, Ella will be the time keeper, Anna would be the one to prize the winner and Helen will cook the favorite food of the winner ok kids?" I explained to them as the kids and I stand in a straight line ready to start running but still waiting for the cue to start.

"Can we start please aunty!" Mike was beginning to cry now.

"Ohk Ella start with the countdown!"

We took our position and she began, "on your marks, get ready and..." We had already started running but realized that she didn't finish the countdown and she was laughing her ribs out at us, "hey...come...back... I..have...come... let's finish the ... countdown!" We come back and took our position again and she started,"on your marks, get ready and go!" We started running and I was doubting if I could ever make it to the end first because that's kids were running as fast as Usain Bolt!!

"Aunty Sara wait for meeeee!" Betty was shouting for me to wait for her because she was now the last one.

I passed past Sam and he too catch my hand, "waitttttt pleaseeee!" "Leave my hand Sam! It's against the rules! Leave me I need to defeat that Benjamin and Mike look at them leading the run!" I shouted and I could here mom, Ella, Anna  and Helen laugh as Mike and Benjamin answered back, "leave her Sam! Let's see if she can defeat us. We are very strong boys!"

"Young mommy go and defeat them. Let's show them that even girls are strong!"  She was shouting while running in front of me but closely behind Mike and Benjamin.

Sam let go of my hand and I increased my pace and I was now at the same position as Snowy, "c'mon baby! Let's defeat them!" I shouted at her and I heard Anna start cheering for us, "Sara! Snowy! Sara! Snowy! Sara! Snowy!" Mike got jealous and shouted at his mom, "mom you too cheer for me and grandma you be on my side!"

"Just keep running am not going to cheer for anyone here. I don't want blames from anyone especially killer looks from Sara and Betty!" Mom shouted back at him as she withdraw herself from this.

We increased our pace and passed Mike who began crying. I ran faster last Benjamin and he started complaining, "nooooo aunty waitttttt!"

"We are not waiting for anyone Benjamin! Why didn't you wait for me when we started running earlier!" Snowy answered back as she removed her tongue and boo at Mike and Benjamin. We finished the run with snowy and I coming fast and then Benjamin coming after us.

Anna come with a tiara and said, "so? Who will take the tiara?"

"Let Pumpkin take the tiara and Helen will cook my favorite meal! We will have even scores there!"  We all agreed and snowy and I started jumping and shouting, "hip! hip!" And I answered, "hurray!" We went on jumping up and down while running around Everyone present in the field.

We went to Benjamin who was sitting on the grass tired, "so who was saying that only boys are strong huh?" I asked not directing the question to anyone but Snowy answered,"it was Benjamin aunty!" She kept her hands on her head and stick out her tongue and laugh at him, she started jumping up and down at the same spot as if she had springs at her feet, "we are the winners! We are the winners! We are the winners! You are the loosers!"

"It's not fair aunty! You are only supporting Snowy!" Mike started complaining. This boy...!!

"It's ok dear. This was just the first game. Let's go rest a bit and have refreshments and then continue with the other games!"
