Hey, this got up fast! Started writing literally the day after the first chapter was published. Mostly cause I've got school tomorrow.... boooo.

Anyways, let's get on with the chapter!

>In which Izuku realizes that he and Shigaraki have the same shoes<

Izuku huffed as he was thrown to the ground roughly, his back slamming into a brick wall. He glared as Tomura Shigaraki walked toward him angrily, his corpse hands clenched around his thin arms and his face and neck. Even with his face covered, Izuku could tell that Shigaraki was angry.

Izuku growled as his quirk flared up, green lightning dancing around him. He clenched his fists and stood up unsteadily.

"Come on, Izuku! Why won't you just listen!?" Shigaraki yelled. Izuku retaliates with an air pressured attack. Shigaraki was pushed backward, but didn't fall.

"Oh, I don't know, cause you're a VILLAIN!?" Izuku yelled back. Shigaraki's eyes hardened at the statement. "Like, did you seriously think this would go anywhere good!?" Izuku antagonized, going against his basic survival instincts. Sometimes he forgot that Shigaraki, even if he was Izuku's brother, was a dangerous villain who could kill people with a single hand.

The day had been decent, and Izuku had woken up thinking all was right with the world. Then, much like the last time the two had gotten into a disagreement, he had left the dorms and run into his older brother. They didn't start fighting right off the bat. It was more of a 'one sentence just ruined our entire day' kind of thing.

Shigaraki had flat out said, while Izuku was staring at a newly released piece of All Might merchandise, "Why do you like that guy so much?"

Izuku, appalled, had responded with, "He's the best hero ever! And my predecessor, how can I not like him?" Shigaraki had huffed and turned away.

Now, Izuku could have just left it alone. He could have just started up a new conversation. But Izuku never did take the easy, safe route. No, he just had to test his luck with one of the most dangerous villains in the entire country, if not the world.

So he asked, "What? What are you so pissed about?" To which Shigaraki oh so nicely replied,

"He's Father's worst enemy, and you actually like him."

Again, Izuku could have just changed the subject. But every time he was given the chance to argue, he took it. Because of course he did.

"Tomura, I'm his successor! He gave me his quirk, I never would've been a hero if he didn't."

"Yeah, well, you could have just taken the quirk that Father has been trying to steal for centuries and just come home with it." Izuku had rolled his eyes, annoyed. Every. Single. Time. Always the same argument, even if All For One himself never made such a humongous deal about it.
