First appointment

I woke up to a 10:30am alarm. I tried to remember why I set it and when I remembered why I set it I shook Brent to wake up

Brent: What what 

Pierson: Baby our first appointment is in 1hr

Brent: Oh yeah Baby get up then

Pierson: Ok go shower in the guest bathroom 

Brent: Why 

Pierson: Pregnancy Privileges

Brent: What is preg- You know what just go take a shower

Pierson: Hahah

They finish getting dressed in 30mins and get into the car

Pierson: bubs the clinic is 15mins away and the appointment is in 30mins so can we get hotcakes from mcdonalds

Brent: Sure 

They get some hotcakes and arrive at the clinic 5mins early.

Dr. Barnes: Pierson Rivera

Pierson: That is us

Dr. Barnes: great follow me

They walk into the ultrasound room

Dr. Barnes: So why are you here today please

Pierson: Um I think I'm pregnant

Dr. Barnes: Did you take any type of test

Pierson: Yes I had been throwing up and I took a pregnancy test and it as positive so we wanted to confirm

Dr. Barnes: No problem. Ok can you lie down so we can take an ultrasound

Pierson: ok

Dr. Barnes: Ok the gel might feel a bit cold ok

Pierson: ok

She put the gel on and the put the transducer on her belly

Dr. Barnes: Ok Mr. and Mrs. Rivera, It looks like you guys are 2 weeks pregnant and here is the heartbeat

Pierson started to tear up. She looked up and Brent had water in his eyes as well.

Dr. Barnes: wait what is that sound that comes after the heartbeat

Pierson and Brent got nervous

Dr. Barnes: Congrats Mr and Mrs. Rivera you guys are pregnant with twins

Pierson: oh my gosh

Brent: are you being serious

Dr. Barnes: Yeah So your due Date is December 23rd

Brent: OMG they can come on Christmas 

Dr. Barnes: Would you like some pictures

Brent and Pierson: Yes please

She printed some pics for them and they left the office

When they were walking to the car, Brent picked Pierson up and gave her a kiss.

Brent : Thank you for giving me some more happiness 

Pierson: I couldn't have done it without you

she said giving him puppy eyes

Brent: Ik but what do you want 

Pierson: How did you now

Brent: Bebe i have known you for 2 and a half years

Pierson: I really want ice cream

Brent: k let's go then
