"Jackie, have you seen Lia anywhere?" Conrad asked his husband who lay there with a comic book in the air his face and a passed-out 3-year-old Kayla on his chest.
"nope, she went to go get some milk 2 pages ago" Jackie replied.
"ok" Conrad replied walking out to try to find his oldest daughter.
"ahh!" Soph screamed as she jumped onto a very tired-looking Scott.
"stay away mini demon!" Soph hissed at the 5-year-old sat messing with the sofa cushions.
"Soph, for the last time, Lia isn't possessed, she's just, Lia" Scott sighed.
"are you sure?" Soph asked pointing to the child who was now holding up a mace twice her size.
"i won't tell Conrad if you deal with it" Scott smirked. Soph looked at the child contemplating whether it was worth the bruises.
"hey, Lia, that's not a toy, why don't you give it to your Auntie Soph?"
*WACK. SCREAM*
"so worth it" Adam smiled from the corner with his camera.
"speak for yourself" Soph growled.
"What on Earth possessed you to try and take the mace off her? You know what she's like" Virgil asked bandaging up Soph's arm.
"yeah, and Scott doesn't think she's possessed" Soph growled.
"she's not" Adam and Virgil told Soph.
"she just looks and acts like it" Virgil replied.
"she's just 50% Jackie" Adam laughed.
"aww there's my mini alien, did you behave for your aunt and Uncles?" Conrad asked scooping up Lia.
"yes, i did" Lia replied proudly.
"then why does Auntie Sophie have a broken arm?" Conrad asked the 5-year old who was quiet for a second before answering.
"she falls out of a tree" Lia replied smiling.
"right" Conrad replied.
"Anyway, tell your husband to hide his stuff more carefully, Lia discovered this today," Virgil told Conrad handing the smaller male the mace.
"JACKIE!!"
