 Finn's Picture>>>>>>>>

“Finn you’re going to get us killed, now let’s get the hell out of here!”

I ignored my friend Asher, now wasn’t the time for one of his panic attacks. He always did this. He needed to learn how to live a little, have some fun. Okay now what we were doing was maybe a little dangerous…illegal… all right who was I kidding we could possibly be sentence to death from the Elector Dermot himself. It was something I was willing to risk though. What can I say, I was curious, and we all know too well what happens to a curious cat.

“Would you calm down if anyone of us is to get killed it’s you for making so much damn noise.” I hissed. He then shut up. I didn’t really know where we were exactly all I know is that I have gotten myself into something my nose had no right being in. But that’s the funny thing about curiosity. It’s contagious. Once you caught the first symptoms of it, it ravaged your every thought, action, and every aspect of your life. And right now I had a full blown case of curiosity. And there is no cure for the one I’ve got. I just hope it doesn’t kill me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We were in the middle of the woods Asher and I were following a Cult, in definition they were the government’s police that are sent to enforce the law upon us. In my eyes they were the devils sent from the profound pits of Hell, but it depends on whom you ask, right? But something about this guy was…off. He must be a newbie I thought, but that couldn’t be. He wore four gold buttons down his navy suit. Every crease in his suit jacket was perfectly placed, not a piece of lint in sight. He had several ribbons on his left breast pocket. War ribbons and such, so he wasn’t new. I followed him quietly behind trees and Asher closely on my tail.

“Finn what are we doing?” he whispered quietly.

“I’m following that Cult over there. There’s something weird about him-“

            Asher interrupted,

“And let me guess you want to find out.” He said more of a statement then a question.

“That would be correct my brother.”

The Cult’s behavior was so weird. He kept looking back every few seconds I assume to see if he was being followed…which he was… He had a terrible twitch in his right eye too that he kept his blond hair covered over. He kneeled on the ground and frantically shifted his hands through the leaves.

What was he looking for?

That was until a glint of metal caught my eye beneath the surface of the leaves. The man’s eyes widened as if he had made it to the Holy Grail and all his prayers would be answered.

            “What’s that?” Asher spoke cautiously.

“I think it’s a door.” I said. I looked back to see that the Cult was gone, but he left the mistake of leaving the door open. Was this guy and idiot or what, he mine as well have sent me an invitation in the mail, but this works too. I crept toward the door and I looked down inside. Light gleamed from the opening the light shining on my face. Below this hatch there was light, and by no means was it candle light. The distinct florescent white light showed a remarkable extreme to the yellow light of a candle fire. They had electricity down there. How is that possible? No one else in all of New America had electricity so why did they?
