Chapter 19 "Ever Free"

  When the sun set down, the guild'd gate got knocked.
  "It's them!" Seth exclaimed and looked around, didn't know what to do with himself.
  "Why are you so excited anyways?" Alina asked, looked at the blonde weirdly while walking towards the gates to let them in.
  "I'm not! ..Am I?" he asked Alina, "Am I? he turned to Kai, who only shrugged.
  When the redhead opened up the gates, she faced 5 handsome young men.
  "Oh.."
  "Ah.. so that's why.." Kai looked at the blonde, his lips shaped up into a tiny smirk.
  "Shut up." he blushed slightly.
  5 boys plus Alina came near Kai and Seth, who were bickering in whispers. Alina whispered something in her boyfriend's ear, which made Kai change his expression, meanwhile Luka hugged Seth right away;
  "Hey! Thank you for having us! You have an amazing guild base by the way! I loved it!"
  Seth laughed and thanked then introduced;
  "Kai, Alina, these are Klaus, Tao, Lukas, Hyeonu and Kise." said to the other two.
  Klaus, the slender but muscular, semi-long maroon color haired young man was looking around, seemed more interested in the modern roman styled house than the people in front of him. He was wearing the same white wide neck shirt and black jeans with his red and black plaid shirt around his waist.
  Tao was also a pretty muscular young man. He was the same height as Hyeonu, which made them the tallest among the group. He had short, straight black hair and light brown eyes. He had a serious expression on his toned face and wasn't showing any kind of emotion.
  Now that Seth took a good look at them, he finally recognized the duo. They were from an another idol group named 4U. Their group wasn't even as popular as AoS but they had couple of bops. While AoS was making more of a HipHop-Pop genre that had cool and sexy concept, 4U was making Rock-Pop genre with sexy rebellious concept.
  The maroon haired boy was Park Junseo, the main rapper and Tao was, his player ID was actually Taorus, the Thai main dancer of their group. Seth could only remember his real name was Nattawat.. something. And the two of them were actually the youngest ones in 4U.
  After the greeting, Seth showed them which rooms they could use for sleeping while Kai and Alina went to the kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone.
  The first room on the left on the 1st floor was going to be Klaus' room for tonight. Next to it, was Taorus' and the 3rd room was Hyeonu and Luka's, it was a 2 people room. Lastly, the room above the crafting room, on the 2nd floor was Kise's. They all agreed on the rooms by themselves.
  Misha and Kira ran towards the players while they were walking towards the dinner table in the front yard. Both pet jumped on Seth.
  "What's wrong with you two? Did you miss me that much? We were only apart for couple of hours." he laughed.
  "Fluffy.." the quiet boy, Tao, locked on the puppy.
  Seth smiled;
  "Here, you can hold him." he handed Misha.
  Taorus' eyes sparkled while he was taking Misha into his wide arms. Misha licked the muscular boy's cheek.
  They reached at the wooden table, which Kai and Alina were already sitting on, Tao still had Misha in his arms. The dinner was fun. Thank god no one was extra awkward. Seth learned a lot about their real characteristics, which were quite disparate how he saw on screens.
Tao seemed to be equipped with 'coolness'. He was a taciturn and a reserved individual. But Seth could tell he was very protective towards his friends, especially Hyeonu and Klaus, who he seemed closer to.
You could say Klaus was the exact opposite of Tao. He was loud, LOVED talking, getting angry more quickly but also calms down easily, mostly frowning but still full of energy. He was like a firework so to say. Although, Seth believed that he had a softer side which he showed only to the people who were close to him.
Luka.. well he was very different. An interesting individual. He seemed to be able to maintain his cheerful personality despite living in a death game for the past 6 months. He seemed quite self assured and wasn't afraid to speak his mind. He could get enthusiastic about most things that catch his eyes and if there was something that remotely interests him, he would instantly act upon and pursue those feelings. His personality was a natural airhead; everything goes over his head. While he does say some.. not smart.. things as he pleases, Seth could feel he wasn't an idiot.
"Can you hand me the salad?" Alina asked and Kise handed the plate without saying anything, then get back to going through his DMs.
  Kise.. that Ice Prince. If Seth had been given only one word to describe Song Kiseung, it would be; cold. The blonde was pretty taken aback by this discovery since he'd respected the idol for a long time as an artist. But turns out he was distant, skeptical and apathetic towards other people, yet, still, somehow flamboyant. Seth hasn't figured out if it was because he was a celebrity or an S Rank. The blonde couldn't say he was a total asshole, yet.. but he sure wasn't the kindest whenever he deigned to speak. In a word, Seth was quite disappointed how he turned out to be personally.
  And lastly, there was Hyeonu, oldest one, the 26 year old. He was a nice and considerate guy who looked like he was always concerned about his friends' welfare. Due to his caring personality, he was often seen with a gentle smile. He also seemed to be one of the most sensible person in his guild and could get a bit worn out from his members' peculiar antics and mannerisms. He looked like he was the most mature one out of all, that's for sure.
While he was thinking about him, Seth didn't realize that he was actually staring at the light brown eyed boy. When their eyes met, Seth gave him a small smiled and the tall guy gently smiled back.
"So," Klaus said, "we actually know each other from the real world, we were all in the same high school and our friendship continued after the graduation, even after some of us went to different.. ahem places. We formed our guild, Ever Free, on the first day of.. y'know... Now then, what's your story?"
"We all met in KMO. Seth saved our lives, then we created our own guild." Alina replied simply.
"I guess Seth does that a lot, saving lives?" Klaus grinned.
Seth figured they weren't satisfied with the answers he's been giving them. But it's was honestly the best he could do.
"I just help people in need." the pink shaded boy replied.
"And thank you for that, really. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't tell me your level even if I'd ask and it looks like you have a reason to keep it hidden, huh?"
Seth just gave him a smile as a reply and Klaus laughed;
"Guess I can just content myself with you being one of the good guys."
"Yeah, we are." Alina replied, then added, "And I know who you are. All of you."
Ever Free members looked at her, with a serious expression on their faces. One could feel the atmosphere suddenly changed, became more.. tense. Kai continued where the redhead left;
"Alina recognized you as soon as she saw you at the gates."
"You're those celebrities who let their fans die for them. You're those idols, aren't you?"
