Chapter 10 "The RoadHouse"

The 3 players found themselves in front of huge gates and as soon as Seth opened them up, they were standing in an ancient roman styled mansion. The couple's eyes widened at the view.
  "I-I didn't know there were mansions like this!" exclaimed the ruby red haired girl with blue eyes.
  "There aren't." Seth replied and added, "I mean for your levels. Anyways, c'mon in."
  Before Seth himself went in, he added Alina and Kai's names of the mansion's ownership list from its settings. When silver keys appeared on both of their items, Alina looked at Seth;
  "You can't be serious. Are you sharing your house without a price? Just like that?"
"Well.. I can't use these all rooms by myself. And I'm planning on making it our Guild house."
The ancient roman styled mansion was huge. It'd built with the shape of an inverted 'U'. When you stepped in from the big black wooden gates, you'd find yourself at the entrance of the mansion which had low ceilinged shelters for the pets on both sides of the walls but pets were also allowed inside of the mansion so it was their decision really.
The first thing that Kai and Alina saw in the garden after they passed the entrance was the huge fountain which was in the middle of the inverted U shape, in between two smaller circular ones. Then they realized the ornamental plants around the fountain and the columns that were filtered down from the walls. There was also a wooden table for 10 people in the garden, especially in front of a certain room.
  "Let me give you a quick tour at your new home." Seth offered after he got rid of his black cloak.
  The certain room was none other than the kitchen, apparently. It was the first room on the right, next to that, there was the living room which was connected the kitchen through not one but two arched openings. The third room wasn't connected and it was the room in the corner. It was slightly bigger than the first two. Both Alina and Kai noticed that the interior had a quite.. updated style than the outer architecture.
"This room is use both as a meeting room and library." the platinum blonde explained.
The back door of the meeting room opened to the graveyard of the garden. They went out from that door and headed straight to the Training Area by following Seth. When the blonde glanced at the couple, he saw that they took a pause in front of the graveyard. There were 2 gravestones put, only the names were visible.
"I wasn't alone for 3 months like you thought." Seth started to talk, "They stayed with me for awhile. Siblings; a girl and her older brother." after a brief pause he added, "They are dead because of me." before he continued walking.
The couple didn't ask anything out of respect, so the tour continued.
The Training Area was in between the graveyard and the Farm where Seth grew some vegetables and fruits. Next of the meeting room, there was the infirmary which was also used as the potion or magical item crafting room. But since Seth didn't have much crafting skills, he was barely using the room. On the other side of the crafting room there wasn't any other room. It was simply a path which was connecting the backyard with the front one.
There were 3 more rooms on the left side of the inverted U, all of them were used as guest rooms. 2 of them had a single, and the third one had 2 single beds and was slightly larger than the other 2 rooms.
On the path which was next to the infirmary/ crafting room, there were stairs, connecting the first and the second floors of the gorgeous mansion. There were 7 rooms in total on the 2nd floor, each had a private bathroom. Seth's bedroom was right above the meeting room on the 1st floor, the room on the corner. Except for the corner room on the left side of the inverted U shape, which was used as a storage room, all the other 6 rooms were guest room. But of course, they could arrange and redesign the rooms however they desired by spending some gold.
"So, which room do you want?" asked Seth.
They were on the second floor, watching the big fountain pool from the open, balcony-like corridor that was staying on top of the columns on the first floor.
"I want the first room on the right, on this floor." Alina answered while looking at her boyfriend. That was the big couples bedroom. The black haired boy nodded as he smiled at her softly.
"Then we'll all be on the 2nd floor." Seth smiled as well.
As he was getting down from the stairs, he saw Misha was playing with Kira, in his giant form.
"God! Misha turn back to your default form when we're home. You'll break something.."
With his owner's words, Misha glowed for an instant and became a puppy, continued to play with the black kitten like nothing happened. They were almost the same height now.
"I should've guessed that he also had 2 forms-"
"-3, actually. He has a default Puppy-form which makes him save energy, 20 cm tall. His Mist form gives him the ability of filling a certain area with mist, giving Buff to his allies, while causing Debuff to opponents when exposed to, 191cm tall. And finally his giant Combat form which you all saw before, 360cm tall."
  "He is..-" Kai began.
  "Big. I know." Seth finished his sentence for him, laughed.
  They went back to the living room. Most things were wooden and others were simply either iron, paper, or cloth. The 3 players got comfortable on the sofas that were in front of the stone fireplace.
  "Alina, we should add each other as Friends first."
  She nodded and while Seth was opening his settings, she studied him a little. She knew they were the same height, so he'd be 170cm tall just like herself. She found him a little bit short for a guy but wasn't going to comment on that. Also she found it weird, that his blonde hair had pink shades in it. Because of what Kami-sama did to the avatar appearances, everyone was looking like themselves IRL. So.. Seth had blonde hair with pink shades? She'd always thought males that were celebrities only would have those colorful hairs.
She kept examining him until the 'Friend Request' popped in front of her. She accepted it with a sincere smile.
"Now what should we call our guild?" asked the blonde boy.
"I don't care as long as it's not a stupid name." Kai shared..(?) his opinion.
"Wow, very helpful, thanks(!)" replied Seth, deadpan, sarcastically.
Kai didn't join the conversation between his girlfriend and Seth. He just sat in his place silently and listened but Seth and Asuna talked about it for hours. After over more than 30 name ideas;
  "No, I give up." Alina cried out.
  "Let's just not create a guild rather than ending up in a stupidly named one." Seth protested.
  Kai looked at the both frustrated players and suggested;
"What about The RoadHouse?" with a sigh.
"RoadHouse?" Asuna raised her eyebrows.
"Yeah, Roadhouses are places where people on the roads for a long time rest and have a good time by eating or listening some music. I feel like it's a long way until the 100th floor and we'll always need a Roadhouse to rest and enjoy living.. So.."
"I think we have a winner." Seth announced.
That's how The RoadHouse created with the emblem of a crescent which is surrounded by a sunlight shape, that had purple glowing. And because the pink shaded boy didn't like the idea of same clothed guilds, he only crafted a black accessories with a medium sized amethysts on and handed them to his guild mates. Alina wanted to get earrings while Kai got a leather wristband and finally Seth got a choker.
"We should hide our guild informations first. Every player can see our numbers, member infos, average power level and such from the Guild Ranks if we don't." Kai stopped his friend as he was about to click the 'Create' button.
"Why should we? Don't you want others to know how powerful we are?" Alina raised her eyebrows, hands on her hips.
Kai and Seth exchanged looks before Seth turned at her and explained;
"Cause we're both Beta-Players."
"What?" her eyes widened.
"I should've told you earlier but I didn't know how you'd react." Kai added, "Sorry."
Alina didn't speak for a while which made both boys a little bit worried but the the red head opened her mouth;
"I knew something was up when you showed up and saved us all and Kai was extremely calm, even for his standards, the whole time. I know there is still something you're not telling me but I'll choose to trust you both on this. You must have your reasons."
Both her boyfriend and the pink shaded nodded, then Seth changed the settings to make the guild 'Private', so no one could see any of their informations. And finally, he touched the neon blue 'Create' button.
The Guild Ranks page refreshed itself with the addition of The RoadHouse, new ranks got presented.
"Do you see what I'm seeing?" Alina asked.
  "I'm definitely seeing what you're seeing." the Kai replied, in a whisper-like voice.
  "I'm not sure whether I should believe what I'm seeing or not." the blonde added.
