Rohit's POV
I was truly happy with the party and the way my friends had arranged it for me. I moved to the kitchen and went to grab a glass of water when he felt somebody behind him, I turned around with a smiling face knowing that this was not some attack but one of my mates.
I saw Jassi with a small box wrapped neatly with gift paper and said "I wanted to give it to you personally."
I took the box opened it and saw a small glass cube with a beautiful photo of him and me together.
The picture was of his debut and my first match as a captain in Mumbai Indian team.
I remembered the scared kid who was so worried looking on the verge of heart attack when I gave him the ball in the first over and that to with Virat on strike.
His face when he had gotten hit for a four and then taking a wicket.
I saw him looking at me and said "You know I remember this match so vividly specially your first over and your first wicket."
He chuckled and said "I was able to take that wicket because my big brother had backed me by giving me a smile even after that four and telling me to bowl the same ball which I had bowled on him in net sessions. Bhai if there would not have been your debut, I wouldn't have debuted as well
This is not just because of debut and all but I have always looked up at you and I am so lucky to have a brother like you."
My eyes were glossy, I said "Jas this is very beautiful and thank you, yeh mere saath humesha rahega aur chal bahar chalte hai sab wait kar rahe hoge."
