Chapter 6

Krystle 's POV

I took a break from my usual routine and just stayed home and just looked at old photos and remembered old memories.

I felt that I have to live not for me but at least for my brother , he wanted me to live my life fearless. To take risk , to lose , to find love and most important make a family of my own. He always used to say family is not just about blood.
It is about those who have been there for you in your tough times , those who have supported you.

To honour his death the only thing right now I can do is take care of the thing that was his. His company.

Today I went to the office with a nice , ready to fix everything look.

Look , what I got Payal one of the best employees I have , being obnoxiously stupid and Ms Ritika a person who is new at this having the most simple yet promising idea.

I was so disappointed in Payal , I would have made her quit.

Shreya looked vary of me , like I was a time bomb that will go Kaboom at any point. Either way I just wished that day that my mind was in the right place , maybe with a penalty or warning the previous ambassador would have been there.

Moving on my security head came in and said that private number no more exists.
I was expecting this , I told him to increase security and dismissed him.

I went out of my cabin and saw Ms Ritika addressing the employees as she was leading the project. It looks like she has everything planned , I guess it was a good decision to give her a chance.

I called her in my cabin and asked her " Is the contract ready Ms Ritika ?"

She said " Yes Maam , it is already sent to the captain. I connected with his manager as well. We are just waiting for his confirmation."

I said " Good work Ms Ritika, anything else ? "

She said " Ma'am they want the shoot to take place tomorrow. As the captain has to go for a tour soon."

I said " Ok , I guess we can arrange that. Just make sure that he is on board. "

She said " Sure Maam "

She went with that and I felt satisfied with her performance and the way she has been dealing with this project and the newly given leadership.

I guess tomorrow is the day I will meet Virat or as I used to call him Vi. He didn't let any other person call him that. Seeing him tomorrow would again remind me of my brother.

They were so much alike , and I knew both of them like I know the palm of my hand.

And I also know that Virat will definitely have a lot of questions. Maybe he has heard of me from his vice captain.

Well , I will be not tell him anything. He would consider me a bloody weakling. I cannot let that happen.

Next day

Rohit 's POV

So today was the shoot and as decided that after the devil meets Virat , she would be in a good mood and that moment , I will apologise to her.

I know What a plan!!

Moving on Virat got up early and made breakfast today as it was his duty. I wonder why he is not going to meet his wife as , Oh right I remember she is working or rather acting since she is an actress. Also she is not in India.

I was ready waiting for whatever this idiot has cooked and then I heard a terrible scream from the kitchen.

I ran to the kitchen and saw Virat on the floor. I started laughing.

And that idiot after getting up scolded me for that and we had to move for the shoot without breakfast.

We reached and Virat went inside and told me that he will message me otherwise I will not go inside.

It's already been 20 minutes since he went inside. I saw Starbucks near the shoot location , let's get a coffee.

Virat 's POV

So here we are at the studio for the shoot. I brought this idiot as well. He can apologise and tell that it was just a prank.

I went inside and saw Krystle , let me just say that she has changed not her face or anything but her eyes. They were once filled with light and now they are just empty.

I went to her and was facing her back. I motioned for the person talking to her to stay silent. I closed her eyes and in an heavy voice said " Pehchaan kaun?"

I used to do the same thing in our childhood . She said looking irritated " Virat is it you?"

I went in front of us and said "At your command."

She looked so unsure of what to say and she looked agitated. What the hell has happened to her , why is she behaving like this?
She is behaving like she does not recognise me. As if I am a bloody stranger.
