Chapter 13

They reappeared in the apartment. “Meeting adjourned?” Bianca asked Chris, smirking up at him. He smiled back. “Well, we were in magic court, kind of. So it seemed appropriate.” Bianca nuzzled Chris’ chest whilst holding him close. Chris returned her affection. “Well,” He said, whilst holding Bianca at arm’s length. “I think I made my point. And I don’t think we are having any ‘interviews’ anytime soon!” He said, with a sly grin across his face. Bianca giggled. “I agree.” She replied. “Thank you.” She continued. “For what?” He said “Helping me with the elders.” “No worries, baby.” He said, whilst holding her close once again. “You seemed to be arguing with you family, have you spoken to them yet?” “No. And if I am honest I don’t plan to anytime soon.” Bianca sighed. “You know, you do have to talk to them.” “I know, and I now think I am gonna get a hell of a lot more questions about you.” Bianca agreed. “I don’t want you to be in any trouble because of me.” “It would be an honour to get in trouble because of you.” He lifted her chin and kissed her tenderly on her soft lips. “Well, I think this is enough adventure for one day.” Chris said. “Mm…” Bianca hummed in agreement. “Wanna do something fun?” He asked, with a cheeky, face splitting grin on his face. “Like what?” She asked with caution. He quickly locked her in a passionate embrace, they laughed. And once again, they made their way to the bedroom.

“I can’t believe he blocked me.” Wyatt muttered, mainly to himself. Piper, Leo and Melinda looked at Wyatt with worry. “Wyatt, maybe, you need to just need to loosen the lead a little bit.” Mel suggested. Wyatt’s headed darted up, to look at his immediate family. And Piper and Leo were nodding in agreement. “What? I don’t have Chris on a lead.” He retorted. Piper sighed. “Look, honey, I understand that you and Chris have always been close. But Chris has other stuff going on in his life now. He has recently moved out of your apartment you shared, he is starting to go into publishing as a career and his obviously has a relationship with this ‘Bianca’. All of these things are saying he needs some space away from us. And I don’t think you are making that easy for him.” Piper confessed, speaking for everyone in the room. Wyatt looked down and considered his mother’s words. “Fine.” He muttered. “I will back off a bit.” They all smiled. “I really think this will be best for the both of you in the long run.” Leo told his son, the only way an ex-elder could.

Bianca awoke, to gentle soft kisses across her collar bone and jaw. “Bianca,” Chris whispered. “Wake up.” He continued he gentle kissing across her body. She lazily opened her eyes, and saw Chris’ bright green eyes staring down at her. “Mm…I’m awake.” She muttered, quietly. Chris stopped kissing Bianca. “I didn’t mean you had to stop…” She said, to herself. Hoping Chris didn’t hear. He chuckled and started to kiss her once more.
