Hello World

The room gets warmer as sunlight peeks through my floral curtain. With a groan, I reach for my phone to look up for the time. I squint as my eyes were not ready of the overwhelming brightness of my phone's display.

Yeah right, automatic brightness.

As I was gaining my momentum to get up, the thought of replacing my damaged phone seems a good "to do" for the day. I was pretty impressed with myself of waking up earlier than my alarm. My usual Sunday would be a sleep treat to compensate for all the sleep I have not had for the week but today - I feel like doing something different.

Having coffee seems a good start for this "different day". It has been a long time since I had coffee. Notifications from my phone keep on popping but I choose to only read Rose's message.

I think my red wallet is in your bag, Lindy.

Great! Another "to do" for today. Rose footed the bill for the dinner last night. She is more than just a co-worker to me, she is like a sister. What a crap of me to make her get it. I placed it in my bag in the first place because she is so careless. She leaves her things unattended almost every time.
I grab the floral curtain and swipe it to my left as I held my mug of coffee on my right arm. The warmth is so welcoming. I bask under its sunshine unaware that I already had my final sip of coffee. I laughed at myself as I peek inside of my mug and breathe out the words. . .

"I wanna go to church."
