Are You Mad?

Does this week can get any worse?

Clutching my blanket to cover my face while I scream made James rush to my room without knocking.

“Lindy! Are you okay?”

I sat right up and gave him an unemotional gaze. What a good start for a Monday morning. Acting confused he grasped my shoulders and gives them a good shake that threw my brain cells all over the place.

“Quit it, will you?”

James sat beside me and tells me the words that I did not expect to come out from his mouth.

He takes the sandwich back and leaves the apartment. I wanted to remind him to be careful of his language but I am in a hurry. I need to submit my report within an hour.

“Hey! Lock the door.”

That is the only thing I managed to say. Who knows who will knock and will take advantage of me, right? I yelled and probably he heard it.

I realized I cannot just stare at this screen for too long. Immediately, I rush to the bathroom to have my showe-
