Who once caused you pain,
Because the parched field
Never be healed without rain.
Forgiving is not for others
It only defends you,
From holding back the bitterness
And helps to start something new.
Forgiving is not forgetting
It is remembering without wrath,
It frees the power and heals our mind
So, we can take a peaceful breath.
Forgiveness opens a pathway
To move forward without spite,
Forgiveness is freeing your soul
To take an unmalicious flight.
