Sana's POV

Finally!...

Collecting all the files I walked out of my small office towards my boss's cabin. Standing just a step away from the door I knocked twice, just a few moments later I heard a curt answer.

I opened the door and cautiously stepped inside frowning at his antics.

"Oh, so you were there", he said immediately after he saw me. Turning his MacBook off he started playing a mobile game.

Rolling my eyes at him I put all the files on his table with a bang and folded my hands together. My posture was quite intimidating, but to no avail, it's useless for him.

"Sana, don't disturb me. Whatever consultancies you have, can wait now. I'm playing", he said not even glancing at me a single peek.

Moving around the table I snatched his phone out of his grasp only to make him frown at me.

"What do you think you're doing Sana?", He said with knitted brows.

He can be a little brat sometimes.

"My job", I answered with a monotone.

"Please leave me alone for Pete's sake, Sana. I have already given all the responsibilities to you to handle. can't you just keep that yourself?".

"And allow you to play these stupid mobile games, right?", I said making him roll his eyes in annoyance. "Alex, it's your office. You are the CEO of this company why do you keep forgetting this always. I can handle your responsibility only until my expertise allows me to do it but at the end of the day it's your restraint to look after", I said in one got making him mumble something under his breath with annoyance dropping under his facial expressions.

"Sana, you know that I'm unfortunately sitting here with nothing but pain-in-a**, and it's all because of my crazy annoying father", he slumped his shoulder in defeat. He might have put all his liabilities on my shoulders but he is also a very good businessman, although he is sitting here with two willing's.

It has only been two years since Alex's father took his sabbatical handling all his business to Alex. However, he fought with all his guts to his father not to burden his responsibilities but somehow his father convinced him.

He was always like that annoying, crazy brat of a creature. I knew him for three years now. Before him, I was working for his father who was a very good friend of my mother in old times.

Initially, Alex really hated my guts but as time flew he started connecting a very special and superior Bond with me and it turned out to be the greatest friendship I could ever have.

He was not only the one but also one of my fellow mates, Sophia who is the receptionist on this high floor has become my lifeline in this ferocious world. Alex loves me as his little sister and Sophia on the other side loves me like her twin sister. Both of them are the best things that ever happened to me.

They are the best...

But both of their encounters are a story for another day...

"I know that Alex, but you can at least try to make it up to you", I continued. "What I'm telling is that now it's high time you should put up your business as your priority", I finished.

"Fine b**ch, tell me what's with all this crap?", He said pointing his index finger towards the files.

"You're never going to change your ways", he mumbled 'nope' making me giggle at his antics. "Ok, so these files are about our annual budget for this year, and the last one is about the white paper for your authorities this year".
