PS: If you wanna check out the Blink-182 song that is mentioned, do so at your own discretion. I personally think it's hilarious, but if you're easily offended by some curse words, I wouldn't advise you to listen to it.

"Oh, my God, Cass, I don't even know what to wear," I told my best friend as she begged over the phone.
"C'mon, 'Manda Panda, please," Cassadee complained on the other end of the line. "I've been so worried about you since your break up with what's-his-name. You haven't been yourself. The fresh air'll do you some good."
"His name was Martin, for your information," I snapped. I knew she had a point, though. I'd barely been out of my tiny apartment for the past two weeks, since Martin dumped me. "Ugh, fine. But I swear to God, Cass, if you mention that nickname tonight, I'll punch you in the throat."
I heard Cass laugh. "So violent . . . I like it. Means you're getting your spark back. I'll head over there now to help you with your outfit and stuff."

Within ten minutes, Cass was on the intercom and demanding to be let in. I buzzed her in and, as soon as she stepped foot over the threshold, she was all about getting me ready for the concert.
After forty-five minutes of rigorous work, I was dressed in my favorite Blink-182 shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans, my Vans adorned my feet, and my makeup was perfect, all courtesy of Cassadee. After that long, however, when she made a move toward my head, I'd run away, refusing to let her do anything else.
I didn't look like anything special. I looked like I normally did. My dirty-blonde hair was down, unlike in its usual ponytail, and my blue eyes were accentuated by the makeup, but other than that, I looked like I would everyday. For some reason, though, Cass found me pretty enough to squeal about as she looked at me in the mirror.
"Why are you so excited?" I asked, frowning. "It's just a concert."
"Because, my darling Amanda," she sighed, pinching my cheeks, "you're so beautiful! And tonight, we're gonna find you a huge hunk of sexy that'll make you forget all about old Marvin."
"His name was Martin," I murmured as she dragged me out of my apartment.

"So, what time is the concert?" I asked Cass as I pulled up to the curb at the House of Blues.
"Eight-thirty," she replied without hesitation. She took out her lip gloss and started to refresh it in the mirror.
I glanced at the clock on the dashboard once more. "Then why the hell are we here at six-fifty-two?
"I wanted to wish Rian luck before the show," she told me, shrugging as if saying it was obvious.
I lolled my head back, but only ending up hitting my head on a metal piece in the seat cushion.
"Can't you call him or text him or something," I growled, rubbing my head and glaring back at the seat.
"It's not the same." She got out of the car and handed at valet her keys as he handed her a ticket. "Now stop being a crybaby and just come on."
She grabbed my hand and pulled me inside, flashing her 'All Access Pass' when the time called for it. Finally, we made it backstage, where Cassadee was greeted by Rian. He hugged her tightly, twirling her around and kissing her. Both of them were giggling like idiots when he set her back down.
