Diluc eagerly waits for the sun to set once more, almost ecstatic at the though of finding out more about this girl.
"Diluc!" a feminine voice calls over.
He turns his head to find a villager waving at him with a small blush on her face. He remembers her easily. Her name is Donna, a huge fan of Diluc, having a childish crush on him and everything.
"Hello, Donna. Is there something you need of me?"
"U-U-U-Um! No-Not really! I j-j-just wanted to talk to you! How are you doing today?"
Diluc shrugs his shoulders.
"I'm doing fine, a little tired though. How are you doing?"
"I'm great now that I get to talk to you! I hope you have a good day!" she says, waving him goodbye.
Diluc returns the wave before walking out of Mondstadt. He quickens his pace a bit, eager to get home before the sun sets. He wishes that the days were just a touch longer. Sadly, he knows he has no control over the natural order of things.

Diluc sits in the tree, watching the table. There sits the note, pen, three apples, and a fresh bundle of grapes. He drums his gloved fingers against the bark of the tree, impatiently patiently waiting.
Soon, the sound of footsteps reaches his ears once again. He quiets himself, even slowing his breath to a near standstill. His ruby eyes scan over the young woman.
Her eyes light up at the sight of three bright red apples on the table. She clasps her hands together, prayer like before she picks up the smallest one and bites into the sweet, crunchy fruit.
He listens to the slight giggle and excitement in her voice as she gobbles down the apples. His heart flutters at the sweet sound of her happy harmonic hums. She picks up the second apple and takes a small bite out of it before she reads the note and writes down her sloppy responds.
Diluc doesn't notice the smile on his face as he stares dreamily at the girl. Her joy over just eating some apples was funny and endearing. He couldn't help but silently chuckle at her.
Once she finishes, she grabs the final apple and runs, not even taking a bite out of the precious food she has. Diluc laughs in a dreamy state at he jumps off the tree, his mind slightly swirling with the thoughts of the sweet expression she had on her face. He picks up the note, a small smile still on his face as he reads the note.

A twang of sadness fills his heart at the thought. He already knows exactly what to write for his next note. He gently folds the note and puts it in his breast pocket before heading towards his room.
