The next morning, they learned, to their delight, that Jack wasn't a scab, and him and David and Denton and Sarah had made a newsies newspaper for the sweatshop kids called "The Newsies Banner" They all got huge stacks and Race and Storm went out together, passing out the papers to every working kid they could find. After they all finished, they all met together in the Newsies Square, only Manhattan, just the few of them. She went right up to Jack, slapped him across his face, then hugged him tightly and told him the truth. He laughed and hugged her back, and then everyone erupted into happy chaos as they were joined by every single sweatshop kid in New York City. They all shouted, and waited on bated breath as Jack and David went to meet with Pulitzer for the final showdown. Storm squeezed Race's hand and looked at him, "I really hope we win Race, Sono cosi nervosa!" He looked at her and could only nod. He agreed. The boys came out and Jack whispered in Les' ear. Then, all at once, they heard the very words they had been waiting for.

"We beat em!" Everyone erupted into cheering, and Storm jumped right into Race's arms "lo abbiamo fatto, il fratello, abbiamo vinto!" She was grinning and laughing with everyone else, and hugging all of her boys. Suddenly, Mush spun her around and kissed her right on the lips. She slapped him away, them both laughing. She began to kiss all of the boys on the cheeks, earning blushes and catcalls. However, when she turned with adrenaline flowing through her veins, to look for Race, he was nowhere to be seen, wanting to be left alone to decide what his emotions were. Mush watched her face fall and it all came to him at once. She loved him!

lo abbiamo fatto, il fratello, abbiamo vinto- we did it brother, we won!

Sono cosi nervosa!-I'm so nervous!
