It took two months of pure monotony and routine for anything unusual and exciting to happen, although it wasn’t anything good. One morning, like always, she got up, got ready, and went outside to the distribution center, where she heard Blink yelling, “They jacked up the price! Ya hear that Jack, Ten cents a hundred! It’s bad enough that we gotta eat what we don’t sell, now they jacked up the price!” She swore loudly, “I barely got any money now, how in the H**L will I live now! A**Holes! F them” The boys grumbled and agreed with her statement. She sat by Race and muttered, “se mai mettere le mani su di loro…” Jack sat down and after a minute suggested a strike. She was one of the few that agreed right off the bat. This whole raising the price was s**t and she wouldn’t stand for them to treat them any less than they already did.

Jack started sending “Ambastards” to tell everyone else that they were on strike. “Okay, what about Brooklyn, Who wants Brooklyn? C’mon Spot Conlon’s territory.” She looked around and saw what she expected to see. Nobody. She raised her hand. “Okay Jack, I’ll go with you.” They all looked really surprised, but Jack just smiled and said, “Okay so me and Storm and Davey will go to Brooklyn.” They headed off and along the way Jack asked her, “Why would you want to come when nobody else did?” She grinned a shark like grin she learned from Fin. “I wanna meet the so called “King of Brooklyn.” I aint scared of nobody.” He grinned back at her and they crossed the bridge. As they did, she slipped her hands into her pockets, slipped on the familiar knuckle braces, and prepared for a fight.

A/N I am making the strike last longer for plot purposes.
