So one of the reasons I wanted to finish all my homework early for next week was because I promised Goshiki to help him study and do the assignments after his game. Volleyball is taking so much out of his time and apparently the coach is relentless so he was getting a little behind in classes. Being the **•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚amazing˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*friend I am, I agreed to help him out. Plus, teaching someone else allows me to understand the subject material as well so it's a win-win situation.
At around midday, a knock sounds on my door and I go to open it. It's the UPS people with two large boxes. They put them inside my room and I thank them as they go back out. A smile widens on my face as I hurriedly open them. It's my new TV and TV stand that Mom and Dad sent over. They insisted on getting it for me after I jokingly said how it got boring sometimes alone but they took it seriously and just bought me the set.
The stand and the TV are both quite heavy though so I decide to wait until Goshiki comes over so he can help me with it. In the meantime, I'll finish the pile of homework that's so patiently waiting for me on my desk. I sit down in my chair and put my headphones on, playing the Lo-Fi beats playlist on YouuTube. Looking at my checklist, I see there's calc, World History, and Bio assignments I need to get done. Well, better start now.

Hours pass and just as I finish all assignments, I check the time on my laptop to see it's 5 in the evening.
Shiratorizawa must be long done with their game by now, I think. Finally feeling the fatigue of studying, I get up to stretch out my limbs that have been stationary all day.
Buzz, bzz.
Jumping onto my bed, I savor a few minutes of just scrolling through social media while waiting for Goshiki. So much fake news about the world ending in December or something circulate, to which I just constantly roll my eyes. Just because the Mayan calendar ends in 2012 doesn't mean they knew the world was going to cease to exist. They probably just ran out of room on their stone slabs.
A knock at my door averts my attention from my phone and get up to let Goshiki in.
"Hey, you guys win?" I ask, getting back onto my bed with my laptop.
He sets down his backpack and sits down next to me. "Yeah! We won 2-1 this time, though. I wasn't able to get in as many spikes as Ushijima but Aoba Josai is actually pretty good so it was fun."
I nod, remembering the conversation I had with Yumi and Shirabu. "Their setter Oikawa, was he good?"
He looks surprised that I know the opponent. "Yeah, he definitely was skilled. How do you know him?"
"Oh, I don't. Shirabu told me about him the other day," I shrug. "What do you feel like eatin'?"
We decide on a burger and fries each and I place my order on UberEatz. Goshiki's about to take out his wallet when I put my hand on his arm. "I got this. Let's say it's a reward for winning today against another powerhouse school."
