y/n's pov

niki and i were now speeding down the road behind will driving in front with tubbo and tommy. what we didn't realize, is that we were around 45 minutes late from when we agreed to pick up everyone from the airport. it was now 9pm and pitch black outside. this really wasn't the time to be laughing, we couldn't help ourselves. 

i felt like i was in one of those movie scenes- one when you feel unstoppable. i was sat watching the stars out the window letting the cold night breeze hit my face and turned on the radio. the song 'everybody talks by neon trees' started playing and i turn to my right and drop my jaw in pure joy at niki which makes her laugh- i'd imagine i mentioned this was one of my favourite songs once or twice.

hey baby, won't you look my way? i can be your new addiction

i started singing as the feeling that was carefree ran through my veins.

hey baby, what you gotta say? all you're giving me is fiction

i look over to my right in hopes niki would join in with me. all she did was spare a smile.

i'm a sorry sucker and this happens all the time

i sit back and pout.

i found out that everybody talks, everybody talks, everybody talks

my face lights up as i see niki sing along. we look at each other ready for the chorus. 

it started with a whisper

we belt at the top of our lungs,

and that was when I kissed her

not a single care in the world.

and then she made my lips hurt 

i started to feel dizzy.

i could hear the chit chat

my head starting to feel light,

take me to your love shack

my voice started to rasp.

mama's always gotta back track

but in that moment,

when everybody talks back

i felt free.

tommy's pov

will was speeding down the road only god knows how fast. i accidentally kept making eye contact with tubbo in the rear view mirror every couple of seconds which made us close to burst out laughing. i wind down my window only to hear the sound of roaring music coming from behind us along with singing. it was niki and y/n. i start laughing which catches everyone's attention. i notice will's grip loosens around the steering wheel along with his shoulders, letting out a sigh before smiling. i got out my phone to text her.
