A few weeks later, Elizabeth, Tom Hiddleston, Chadwick, and Eveline were all running around the venue, trying to figure out how the entire event would play out. But because Lilah had requested it be outside, the entire thing would be held in the courtyard of the venue. Which was completely fine, because it was quite sultry inside.

Benjamin, his boyfriend Connor, Freya, Anabel, and Zendaya were all with Lilah, helping her get ready.

It was really nice, how well they all got along. Like their own little friend group.

"Um, Lilah?" Benjamin asked from his chair by the window. They all sat inside a small room, fans blowing so air flowed in. "I think Tom might be stressing out a little," he pointed out the window.

Lilah peered outside the glass pane and out into the courtyard. Clad in a gorgeous black and white suit, Tom paced over the concrete ground, which was flooded with all different colored rose petals. Eveline might have over done it with the decorating.

"Maybe he's just nervous," Daya said from beside her, "because you look fucking amazing."

Lilah smirked and voiced her thanks, but one glare from Anabel and she backed away a little. Quite over protective, that one.

But yes, Lilah's ensemble did make her look wholly beautiful. Thin white straps held up the dress, but the color slowly faded to a light gray as it moved along the swathes and folds of the tool skirt. A little detail Anabel herself had suggested—add little stars further down the skirt, where the gray started to come in. To match her eyes.

"He hasn't even seen her in the dress yet," Connor reasoned. "I think he's getting cold feet."

"Well he's already married to me, so he can't run away now," Lilah sighed dramatically. "Although we have been joking about divorcing each other since the day we met so . . . I should probably make sure he isn't signing any papers."

Benjamin peeked out the window again. "No he's just messing up his hair gel. Not a total loss though, I always did like his hair in curls." Both Connor and Lilah scowled at him for that.

Elizabeth came running into the room, slightly out of breath. "Your surprise is awaiting outside the door."

"Surprise?"

"Do you even remember the last few weeks?" she asked. "When I told you I had a surprise, and I went on and on about it—no? Okay, well, he's here now," she said, opening the door again. "By the way, you look amazing."

Lilah was about to say thank you, but then he walked in. A lot taller than she remembered, but still there. John Mulaney, in the flesh.

"Oh, hi Lilah. I'm here to marry you and Spiderman. First time for me, second time for you," he chuckled and looked her up and down. "You look like an angel."

Tom was nervous for many many reasons.

One, because Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were just a few feet away from him, grabbing drinks from the bar while Louis fixed the ruffles of Harry's dress.

Two, because everyone he'd ever loved was here, either inside the venue getting themselves ready, or just now sitting down in the chairs that Hiddleston had set up in the courtyard. There was a lot of people here. Which might've been why the first time around, he'd only wanted to marry Lilah with no one there to stare at them.

Three, because through the window, he caught a glimpse of Lilah a few seconds ago, and she looked so happy. To be marrying him. Again. She'd likely marry him six thousand times if it could be done. But so would he.
