Your POV
I put one of the last barrels of supplies on the wagons. My eyelids felt heavy. All I want is just a few hours of sleep, is that too much to ask for?
Not realizing I didn't remove my hands from the barrel, I jump at a voice that belong to Armin. "Hey Y/n, are you alright? You kind of zoomed out." He said, walked closer to me. I turned my head to look at Armin, and he gasped. "You have eyebags under your eyes. Are you tired?"
I put the back of my hand on my forehead and sighed. "Yeah, a bit. I just wish we could take a break from everything that's going on but I know that's not gonna happen." I sighed, looking at the barrel.
"I'll take the reigns, then. Don't push yourself too much when you're tired, it'll just make you hallucinate." He said with a soft smile.
"Are you... sure?" I asked, putting my hand behind my neck.
"I insist. You can stay in the back with Annie and rest, or take a little nap." Armin smiled. I sighed and gave in.
"Alright... Thanks Armin." I got in the wagon and sat, putting my head on my arms. After the last few of the supplies got in the wagons, we heard the four gunshots.
"Four gunshots in a row... That's the sign from Jean to continue the operation." I hear Mikasa say.
"We've got plenty of weapons and food packed already." Connie informed.
"Their attention should be on the other side of the fort right now. Let's go!" Armin said. I felt the horses pulling the wagons, making bumpy movements.
"Someone's watching us." I hear Annie say. I turned my head up at one of the windows, seeing a silhouette of a person looking out the window.
"We just have to keep going! Hurry, Mikasa!" Armin shouted. I felt myself fall asleep with my head in my arms. It only felt like a second before I woke up. We picked up Reiner, who just woke up from Annie kicking him. Meeting up with Hange, Levi, and Jean, we settled down and made a campfire while cooking food. That nap earlier was okay, but at least I have enough energy for the time being.
"Instead of staring each other down, could some of you help me?" Hange said, breaking the silence between us.
"I'll be willing to help out." I walked over and kneeled down on both of my legs next to Hange.
"Great, one person is good enough!" They exclaimed. I started helping Hange with the food.
"Hmph..." The General hummed. "To think we'd all be here taking a meal together after all the time we spent trying to kill each other..." He said. "It's interesting. What changed your mind? You know you'll get the world you want if you just let Eren Jaeger go. That heaven for you island devils." I looked over at him.
"We were so close to keeping Eren and Zeke from coming close into contact. If only you hadn't helped them out." He sighed.
"Like I explained, general. None of us wanted genocide. We wouldn't have scurried off to a forest to lay low and make stew if we did." Hange said.
"So you're saying you finally see whose side justice is on..." The general huffed. I hear Jean gasp in disbelief.
"Justice? Were you just talking about justice? You?" Jean muttered. "So we're the bad guys for fighting those titans you people kept sending over to us?!" He shouted. I let out a groan, rolling my eyes to Jean. "Listen up! The reason we fought as hard as we did is because we didn't want to be eaten alive by Titans! You're the one over there trying to say that's something only devils would do?!"
