Chapter 6

So basically I wrote this chapter and then it deleted, so I wrote it again but not half as good sorry guys...But its still cute af!

I opened my eyes slightly, trying to figure out what that sound was. Since my bed was near to a window I could see that it was still dark outside, meaning it must either still be night time or very early in the morning. Either way I had not slept for long. The sound of a guitar rang out in the room but I was too tired to really notice so I just closed my eyes and listened. Where was that coming from?

Wait, was that Vic singing?! Turning my head slowly I peeked over to his side of the room, careful not to disturb him. He sat, back to me, in just his pj bottoms strumming away on an acoustic guitar that I had never seen before now I think of it.  Wow his voice was amazing...

It's like a long drag taken

Before the smoke hits the white sky

I sat up slowly, just listening. However I guess I caught his attention because his head snapped round showing a very embarrassed face, 

"No, please carry on, your amazing." He seemed to relaxed a little bit when i said this, his face softened. 

"No way, its just a stupid song, sorry for waking you up"

Vic’s dimly lit light created a very relaxed atmosphere in the room and despite also being shirtless, I felt comfortable enough to go and sit next to him. so I did. I sat down right next to Vic and looked into his eyes,  a person so easily get lost in his deep brown eyes, they were like honey. Placing my hand on his thigh I asked "Please, carry on?"

He faltered for a minute, looking from me to my hand to his guitar until he finally gave in and nodded slightly. I knew the song he was singing by the first line, it was one of my favourite songs, I and my band even covered it back home. Goo Goo Dolls - Iris.

'cause I know that you feel me somehow 

His voice was so smooth and calming, I almost got lost, that was until a though popped into my head. Next think I know I was joining in, our voices mixed together perfectly. At first Vic was a little taken back by me joining in but he sound found his rhythm...

We finished together, both beaming at one another, Vic was the first to speak

"Look Kellin im sorry for snapping at you earlier on, I was just worried about mike"

Honestly, I had completely forgotten about that, It's understandable for a Brother to be concerned about his family, No biggie. I shook my head and smiled letting him know that It was ok, he just smiled back.

"you have an amazing voice too you know, I didn’t know you had it in you" he remarked

"And what’s that supposed to mean" I huffed, faking my annoyance. 

"Oh just that you seem more of the rebellious, shallow, druggie type ya kno-"

I stopped him midway by shoving him straight of the edge of the bed, He sat there wide eyed as he watched me burst into a fit of giggle, I laughed even harder when he tried to get back up but tripped over his guitar. 

"Shut upppppp" Vic said, nudging me slightly and trying to hide the smile that was tugging at the corner of his lips. His lips. They looked so soft; I could lean in and kiss him right now. I’m not sure If it was me moving or Vic moving but we were somehow just inches away from each other’s faces, I stared into his eyes for a moment longer before whispering "I should really go back to bed" 

"Yeah" he whispered back, taking one last glance at my lips.

What the hell just happened? Well whatever it was stayed on my mind until I finally drifted off to sleep.
